Someone who knows my wife sent her this. I don’t believe it is true but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this being stated. I’m not sure what group it is from but something doesn’t sound right. If it is true it actually makes things easier but there are too many holes in this story. Why would his kids who are getting interviewed need tax transcripts if they are Filipinos getting interviewed?

I saw this in a group as well. Guy had issues with what he submitted and they asked for something else now he is mad at Trump is most likely. Advice has always been to get the transcripts and its not as if you have to wait until the day before the interview to do it.

Transcripts are actually easier. It seems like he was just unprepared and got upset. It is always someone else’s fault, I guess!

Not to mention if MNL suddenly denied 90 percent of applicants, even on one day, I feel like it would be more than this one guy talking about it.

I call bull manure, not to say that this guy didn't have a 221g issued .. likely the CO doubted his 1040 was real so asked for transcripts.   But transcripts are not required.

"Federal Income Tax Return Information. You must provide either an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) transcript or a photocopy from your own records of your Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year. If you believe additional returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your Federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years. You are not required to have the IRS certify the transcript or photocopy unless specifically instructed to do so by a Government official; a plain transcript or photocopy is acceptable."

The guy has a chip on his shoulder because he wasn't prepared.  He is going into every group saying the same thing.

Some people like to blame everyone but the person in the mirror, even though the person in the mirror is the real culprit.

Literally just about to post this. I believe it’s a load of BS. I believe it’s just some liberal taking his disdain for our president and blaming his (this guys) incompetence on Trump....

That’s what I was saying Hank. He is probably just blaming Trump for his failure to support his alien fiancee...

Funny thing is is the groups that I'm in its being reported that the transcript is no longer acceptable and only requirement is a 1040. till I see something in writing I'm not changing my stance. I recommend tax transcript all the time because of the ease of getting them.
