He/She need to bring his/her aadhar card and another identity such as pan card ,voter card and appointment letter .All information what will be needed will be provided to you once you register for it. It will take anywhere between 1-2 weeks.

I finally got my case number tonight after  6 weeks and 5 days of waiting. So happy. Only wish I could log into CEAC now....anybody know how long I have to wait until I stop getting the message about the numbers not matching NVC records? Thanks

Just a quick update. We received our NVC case number and Invoice ID by email today, 19th Feb.

We were approved by USCIS on 27th Nov, and the NVC received our case on Jan 2nd.

 

I made the payment for both the AOS and IV fees today. 

 

AOS went through fine, however, while paying for IV there seemed to be an internal error (DB transaction rolled back) and consequently the Transaction ID wasn't generated. It still shows the status as In Process though, similar to AOS. So I'm hoping both will open up in a couple days to upload documentation.

 

If IV doesn't open up, I'll unfortunately have to call them to get things sorted out. Will keep you guys posted.

Hi. I see you posted this 10 hours ago. I just got my case number almost an hour ago. Did you try to log in to CEAC as soon as you got the case number or did you wait a few hours? Because I just tried to log in twice and I'm getting a message that my invoice ID and case number don't match their records.

I got the email around 9 this morning, and I think I tried logging in for the first time around 12 or 1, and was able to get in without any issues.

 

Maybe try again in a couple hours / in the morning. Hopefully this is just a timing thing, and the systems haven't been updated yet. In any case, I'm sure they'll be able to resolve it on the phone, if need be.

Only mandatory if your income on your tax return transcripts are below the poverty level.

I got an rfe asking for 2017 tax transcript. 

So might be a good idea to upload that. 

 

I also uploaded a letter stating the nature of her business along with her license info. 

Also her past 6 months bank statements. 

 

Very annoyed they asked for the transcript when I already submitted a 50 page tax return. 

They should just ask for one or the other. 

Yeah I read about your case. Sorry to hear what happened. These guys are just clueless about how these little things (for them) affect our lives.

 

I'll gather all the documents mentioned and upload I guess, since I have most of it anyway.

For the Police Clearance Certificate from India, we have just one from the Passport Office. My wife was told that there isn't any other document given at the Police Station. 

Is that correct ? Is that experience the same for the other Indian applicants as well ?

Yeah, just gotta wait now .. but I need this time to go through the forms and all that anyway, so hopefully will make good use of this time.

Look if they send you a message in you ceac account. You need to receive a message and in that message you will read documentary qualified
