N400 application overdew

I’m currently thinking to applying for us citizenship. I’m married to the same us citizen and I’m in the USA for more than 6 years. So should I apply under 5 years residency or 3 years residency with the same us spouse???

any advice will be appreciated.

No because why would you do it the hard way under the 3 years rule when you can do it the easier way under the 5 years rule.  Generally, people take the easier route rather than the harder route when given a choice.

No. The decision to take citizenship or not is entirely personal. You are free to stay a GC holder, if you wish. You are free to choose citizenship, if you wish.

Unless you did something against the law, you should have no reasons to worry. People remain as LPRs for 20-30 years or more and don't apply for naturalization though they are doing it now in large numbers due to the political climate.
