Confusion about the NOA1 date

Hi,

We couriered our I-129F package on June 28th, 2018 and it was received at Texas lockbox facility on July 2, 2018.

On the USCIS website, it says "On July 2, 2018, we received your form I-129F ....... and sent you the receipt notice ..." but we received the NOA1 hard copy with date as July 9, 2018 and also an email on the same date.

I wanna know what is the date of our NOA1? Is it July 2nd or July 9th?

Thanks

Hmmm.... Yes. That's true. Eventually it's the approval that matters but I just wanted to put the right data here on VJ cause ppl follow others profiles to get an idea.

Is 14th May 2018 the date on the hardcopy of ur NOA1?

Look at your paper I-797C form. Notice Date is NOA1 date, and it is what usually is shown on "new" USCIS site.

Thanks for sharing that. Mind sharing the link of the new USCIS website. Maybe I am looking on the wrong one. :)

https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ is new

You will need to set up a 2 factor authentication to use that. Various "USCIS tracker" apps that you see people use do NOT use new site, they only get data from old site that doesn't requite any passwords.

Can both petitioner and beneficiary create their own accounts using same receipt number?

Or is it only one person can create the account?

Both can, as a matter of fact you can add multiple cases there to track which don't have to be "your" cases. It does no validation of that, as long as you are putting valid receipt number. The information that they show you specifically doesn't disclose any private information, e.g. name or address of petitioner.
