OMG this is classic. Sorry had to respond.

OP you got some good tips. All you can do is take ack to embassy and reseal and be on your way. Hopefully it won't take long a day or two.

I went to the embassy. I did not wait in the line. They made me pay 1 $. Then i sat and waited like 10 minutes after a woman took my envelope with other documents. They gave me back documents that were not supposed to be inside the envelope. Then she gave me the new sealed envelope. Everything is OK.

So don't open your envelope guys. And if you do contact the ambassy asap. You should be fine and only have to pay for a new envelope.

Thanks to everyone here. You guys are awesome

AWESOME!  Thanks for sharing.  Keep that away from your father this time! 😁

What did your father add to the envelope?

This makes me upset who are stuck in long admin processing. Seriously..

It's not a big problem. Just contact the embassy. It will be fine. You have the Visa, that's the most important thing.

I have no idea why the OP”s story has anything to do with anyone else under AP, but regardless, the visa is not complete without the envelope.

What did your father add to the envelope?

I actually added documents... Inside one of my folder I found documents where it was written "agent copy". And I thought I had never seen them before. But I believe that I got it right after the interview. (can you guys confirm me that they give you documents like photos, and forms right after the interview?)

You guys can't imagine how fast it was. Normally you gotta wait in line, set an appointment. For me

Monday at 23h00

I realized my dad opened the envelope

Tuesday at 9h00

I called the ambassy. They told me to send an email explaining what happened

Tuesday at 11h00

A woman called me and asked me to come Wednesday at 9h30 with the envelope, all the documents and 1 buck

Wednesday at 9h30

I go through security. Then a lady asked me my for my photo. I said I am here because I opened the envelope. She was like "oh it is you. Just wait a sec" then she grabbed her phone and called someone. She asked me to go inside. I go inside. There is another lady waiting for me. I immediately go to the cashier and pay 1 buck. I got the receipt. And then I give the receipt to the lady. She took my documents and envelope then asked me to sit.

Wednesday at 10h00

The lady comes back with a new sealed envelope. I asked her is everything is OK. She said yes. I said is there any way I could get rejected, she said no. I leave right after. While leaving I see again the first woman, she comes and give me a big hug. Then I left...

That's all. It took 24 hours to get it fixed. One last thing I want to say. On the envelope, in my ambassy, there is no such thing as big red marks, or big signs that says do not open. It is just a normal envelope with a tiny little text at the bottom. It does not look like something you don't want to open + when I got the email for my interview and during that interview it was never written or said that I was gonna get a sealed envelope... So...

Normally you don’t need appointments for follow up issues.

As for “never written or told”, I’m surprised, but nevertheless you should also have studied the department of state visa process pages during the process and it is very clear about getting the envelope and not opening it in there. Anyway glad it’s all sorted out.
