mine is november 20th.  still waiting.  would NOA2 come to me or my fiance in the PH?

1. The NOA2 and NVC case numbers both go to the petitioner.

2. The PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

3. Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

4. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Yes, keeping busy with other things is so important right now. The fact that you know it’s right around the corner makes it worse lol. So close - yet so far.

I have been doing all kinds of checking, calculating, making a spreadsheet... shhh don’t judge me please. 🙈

In the event you run out of things to do when following and creating your spreadsheet maybe a few more areas to investigate may improve your research results.

Tool Tip 1: Use the tools here in VJ to answer "when I am going to get etc. etc." question. Near your picture there is a link for your timeline. Select it and once you're on the next page near your picture  you will see "follow similar timelines" and it will populate 12 other couples who are near your dates. Scroll down and you will see a "spreadsheet" style page showing all the variables for measurement for when others are getting the same notice of approval or action.  Try it. It really works!

I followed those that were in my group to give me an idea where they were in processing so I could judge if I was ahead or behind.  It's pretty accurate, maybe within a day or so.

If you choose to follow those twelve members then you will get an email every time their status updates.

Tool Tip 2:  You can see the most recent approvals (of people who posted here and updated their timelines) here https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php

Tool Tip 3:  If you select your flag in your profile it's going to open up to a page with lots of information. In the middle upper part of the page you are going to see "Quick Links" then in the list select "Embassy Review" and you will be taken to a page where you can read what others have experienced at your Embassy and you can add your review. Once it is complete then cut and paste the URL for your review into this thread to share with everyone. This keeps the thread clean and tidy, and not only those who are here to see it but others who may not see this thread but would see your experience. A good interview will point out some of the hiccups that you experienced along the way and the highlights of your experience. These are very helpful. I am looking forward to your review and thanks for sharing.

I hope these will be helpful to you and others while you await your visa adjudication.

My fiance just got off the call with a tier 2 officer. We've been told we're in normal processing time and than the officer  took a look at our case and told us that everything is okay, no rfe's, no red flags, everything is perfect waiting to be approved. 😊

Just a tiny bit 🙂 I don't think any of us can be really relaxed until we get that visa in our passports... Such a nerve racking process

You are half correct. You also have to have the visa/passport in your hands and have gone over the visa to ensure it accurate.

I have seen many who have been delayed either by thinking they will get the visa in a few days after the interview and they book flights only to find out that they are delayed in getting their passports with visas.

I also have see visa's that have misspellings and wrong information that require it be returned back to the embassy for corrections further delaying the couple.

Good observation on your part.

Love reading your posts. Haven't seen someone so detailed, observant and specific yet. I guess you going thru this gives you a better perspective and makes you objective, more objective then any of us going thru the process right now. Quite a refreshment!

Tbh, I won't be relaxed until I'm in the fishbowl on MIA looking for a ballon that will most like say "Congrats, it's a boy" or "Happy 50th anniversary" cuz my future husband will remember the "Welcome" ballon last minute and that's only ones they will have left in the store lol but thought it's to detailed to post 😁😁
