Who stands to gain from them? Really? The bomber stands to gain from it. Be it a group of persons or one nut job. The nut job always stands to gain. In the long history of the FBI tracking such individuals doing it to a wide range of targets - from average persons to higher up persons - the bomber always does it for their own reasons. And usually it's not the thing you're thinking of at all. It literally could be a guy in his mom's basement that hears voices in his head. A good case example would be Walter Moody. After his first bombing conviction, he decided to attack all sorts of targets to make it look like it was a racial thing. Was that his true motive? Nope. It took years, but the FBI determined he was just nuts and trying to throw them off the trail by making it look like something it was not. Just because he could. I must admit there are a few aspects of this case that are fascinating. The targets, the stickers, the hallmark misspellings, the locations, even the components. I think they know a lot more than they are telling us, and we'll soon find out.

Agreed. Have a few theories about whom it could be, I'm just afraid someone will really get hurt by the time they do catch them. The USPIS has been doing a good job, they are on the front lines of catching this stuff.

I betcha they tracked him because of the stickers he kept putting on the bombs. But I do hear he was known to police, and had priors for threatening to kill judges.

it is wildly out of control on both sides, to the detriment of the country, there needs to be some sort of tolerance or at least a truce if we are to move forward. I will be glad to see the end of the midterms as I pray it will lessen the vitriol and posturing
