I'm all for victims speaking up - and quickly.  We need a system in place though that effectively deters FALSE accusations.  We need a "checks and balances" here.  Can he sue her for the emotional damages and financial losses suffered at her BS claims?  "Morning after regret" is NOT the same as "night before assault"!!! This boils my blood to no end!!!

We also need a system that doesn't marginalize the victims, or give the wealthy the power to escape Justice.

i read the whole thing. Just amazing.

Unbelievable is more like it.  Kiss a girl because she wants you to, and you have to pay $12,000 in legal fees?   Ridiculous.  Were I him, I would have countersued for emotional distress.  At least to get half the lawyer's fee paid.

This may be the only time I agree with you. The 2 things are not mutually exclusive.  We can have both, validation and justice for victims AND consequences for and protection from false accusations. Due process is a good thing for everyone.

I agree. That is why I believe people like Bill Clinton should be held accountable.

Sad story.  I wonder if the family can sue to girl and her family for making the false accusation for wrongful death?
