Consulate Review: Sydney, Australia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description

Embassy Review : The process was just as described by everyone else pretty much. My SO waited at the elevators until they opened them up at 7:45am. He was done by 9am. We didn't hear what we were hoping to hear, but that's not the consulate's fault. Everyone was nice and the questions were normal, nothing intense. Just our issue that we knew could be a problem, and it was. We're working on that though. Sydney is nice. Oh! My SO flew in late and stayed at the Travelodge on St Phillips - the only food he could get was a McDonald's down by a big Apple store about a 5 min walk away (past the MLC, off King st). So get food at the airport if you fly in late (or like Mickey D's)!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
