Heads up everyone, here is a good news for Texas filers with receipt # SRC, today , I got an email stating a new card is being produced. Today makes it 14months and 25days since I filed my I-751. Now, the next thing is to file N-400. I wish all guys still waiting the very best. Just hang on and be patient, your time will surely come. My timeline I filed in October 2018, was told in December 2018 that my biometrics will be reused, I didn’t get my extension letter until March 2019, in October I got a letter to go and redo the biometrics, which I did on October 30th 2019, on December 13th,2019 my case was updated to show fingerprints were taken and today January 13th, 2020, new card is being produced. Thank you all for the support all through the long waiting, I pray each and everyone of you guys too have the course to smile. God did it... Hallelujah!!!

Went back to some other 2018 filer topics (June-Sept) to see if there has been any recent movement for other LIN cases that weren't approved in the original batch. Nothing for them either.

 

I did see someone claim they received an RFE for "fresh pictures and other proof" simply because their case had been sitting for so long? If true that's sort of ridiculous they expect filers to do more work because they cant process cases fast enough...

Technically it is possible to travel before getting approved, or when you get the permanent green card. Are there any things to keep in mind for traveling into / outside country?

What’s your processing center? Well Texas is moving now. Mine got approved after 14 months and 25days. Today it changed from New card is being produced to Case was Approved and that they’ve mailed me the approval. Just little patience, it will soon be your turn.

Last Thursday I was coming home from work and I checked the tracker app. I almost started crying when I saw that the card had just been mailed to me!!! 463 days after filing for ROC. I actually had it in my hands by Saturday. No RFE, no interview. SRC. I'm going to try and find the tracking post and update my status.
