Oh, interesting. I just figured it would work like it did with the I-129f and update on both receipt and approval.

I’ll see if my husband signed up for an account or not.

The form is the same and it only works for the receipt notice.

Huh. That’s so bizarre. I have a very vivid recollection of getting a text about my I-129f being approved one night at work and getting really emotional about it. I would have sworn by it! Memories are weird sometimes.

Oh well, it’s really not that important either way.

It’s absolutely possible! It’s obviously been what feels like a long time ago and I’ve completed so may petitions for clients in those years, it all sorta bleeds together.

We will definitely have to disagree with that one and leave it by that.

As to changing your address within the same city will not change anything for your case so you will be fine there.

You can disagree with me all you want but the lawyers are stating the processing times now for ROC are longer. And everyone I have heard from have stated the same.

I thought I had signed up for updates but never got any. I just have the habit of checking the app every day. My status changed on Thursday to Case was approved and then on Friday changed to Card was mailed to me.

I have been on vacation in Europe for 10 days and hope the green card and extension letter won’t be an issue now that the system is showing card issued.

I'm happy for everyone getting approved! I hope that our RFE does not slow us down too much.

We've sent in our response Monday and the status already updated today to response received.

I'll post here what we've sent in for evidence the first time and this time to help out anyone that's maybe wondering.

We've initially sent ( our photo IDs showing mutual address, Joint checking and savings account info with 2018 statements, Joint credit card info, Joint federal tax return for 2016-2017, Joint health insurance info, Joint phone bill, Receipts and tickets for trips together, Social media screenshots, letters from family members and many photos).

What we've sent in this time around is (Birth certificate of our daughter, more photos, updated address on both our IDs, our USPS change of address request for both of us,  some mail addressed to us, multiple utility, mortgage and insurance bills in our names for the same address, jointly filed 2018 state and federal tax return, our mortgage closing disclosure, 2017-2018 W2s, proof of owning the house together and more bank statements from different years).

I'm gonna say this should be enough because I don't even know what else they'd need lol.......

You’re original list sounds really close to what we sent in. I hope we don’t get an RFE. I don’t know what else I would send. We haven’t a a kid since sending in the original packet, haven’t moved, haven’t bought a house, etc. I absolutely would have no idea what new stuff to send.

Out of curiosity, what did your RFE letter say or if you can share it? I am preparing my package, and I am trying to fully get a better understanding of the nooks and crannies they look for in evidence since my and my wife live apart due to employment

Yes I understand what you're saying... If we never bought the house or had a baby together, I'd have pretty much zero evidence to send...

I really think that they are being difficult with people that don't have kids yet and that just simply do not have much money or do not want to share money because it's not like you have to share your finances just because you are married to this person lol

I hope you are luckier than we are and you never get an RFE.. For us he is 10 years older than I am so that might be a reason they are being extra hard on us.. We always got and RFE in every step which sucks :(
