It doesn't hurt.  USCIS wants to see evidence of a relationship.  Any birth certificates of children born from the marriage, lease, bank accounts, etc.  

 

It's all good to have in there--it doesn't make or break the application, it just gives credence to the relationship and makes it stand out on paper.

Of course, it is essential to send evidence to USCIS and bring it with you at the day of interview. If you want you can also do so with NVC, however it’s not mandatory, I didn’t send any evidence to NVC

Yes it is necessary to add any evidence you have now at the USCIS stage like pictures, chat & call logs, boarding passes, greeting cards and more. Very important to frontload at the USCIS stage. Ghana is a tough embassy

Your question indicates you have not read the I-130 instructions.  Doing so with all forms will be critical to your ultimate success.

Rarely will too much evidence be an issue.  If you have it, why not send it.

Frontloading...sending lots of quality evidence with your petition to USCIS...is incredibly important when going through the Ghana embassy. Everything you submit during phase 1 (USCIS) and phase 2 (NVC) will be forwarded to the embassy before your interview. Trust me, the COs will look through the evidence before your spouse even steps foot in the embassy for the interview. What you submit early can have a bit impact on their decision. I've included a list of every piece of evidence submitted during every phase.

I agree with pushbrk that you need to read the instruction throughly. I didn’t send any photos but I don’t see why not?  

 

My advice though, make sure you double, triple x10000 check to see everything is correct and that you have all the supporting documents. The new law takes in effect today. Read this article http://mynorthwest.com/1109246/legal-immigrants-hurdles-citizenship/

My best advice is that . Let him add everything that will serve as a evidence including pictures , receipts of wedding clothes , rings , chair rentals , I mean everything . Let him add you to his bank accounts and credit cards . A letter from families confirming that your marriage is legitimate and they are aware . If you guys have properties together . Let your names be on it and send the copy of documents . My best advice to you that it is better to put every effort into it than to put a little , you can send me an inbox message if you need any advice
