Dude I told u this a few times now. They don't always update the sites. New site still shows my case received February 7th.

old site up dated to rfe received. Never changed to approved or anything else.

uscis does what they want when they want.

as u can see first hand, uscis does little as possible...

fyi..... uscis and nvc won't be open Monday as it's a holiday... no since in calling and being told office is closed..

good luck👍🏻

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

You know the best tool to use is the timelines here on VJ.

1. It's advisable that once you receive your NOA2 that you contact NVC via https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html to update your email address as well as your beneficiary's email address.

2.  Use the tools here in VJ to answer "when I am going to get etc. etc." question. Near your picture, there is a link to your timeline. Select it and once you're on the next page near your picture you will see "follow similar timelines" and it will populate 12 other couples who are near your dates. Scroll down and you will see a "spreadsheet" style page showing all the variables for measurement for when others from your Embassy are getting the same notice of approval or action.  Try it. It really works!

3. And if you want to follow those from other countries that have similar timelines as yours there are several tools available to you. Go up to Immigration Timelines on the blue ribbon above and select it. Once you are on the next page looked to your left and you will see a box that states, "find similar timelines" and select it. A list will populate with those who are processing close to your timeline. When they start to change you will soon be behind them.

I followed those that were in my group to give me an idea where they were in processing so I could judge if I was ahead or behind.  It's pretty accurate, maybe within a day or so.

If you choose to follow those twelve members then you will get an email every time their status updates.

Even when we got our RFE I didn't get a notice in my email nor does our online account show anything otehr than they received our original application last year... March 1.
I realize they are inundated with applicatoins and calls and stuff but I know for a fact our application had everything including the divorce certificate they requested in the RFE which if I was able to talk with a "REAL PERSON" I could've revied each page by page and said it's rright there page 31 or 32 what ever it is in my packet.  Regardless I had my fiance go to ehr city hall in Tokyo and get a new updated copy, paid for it to expedited translation and then overnighted this in the original envelope to the Cali Service Center.  When I called a few days later they told me they see yes it has been received.   I asked if they will update the website with this and they told me thats up to the examiner.  It's not a requirement but a courtesy.

Being here in Japan for 2 weeks I feel helpless and now I can't wait to get home... I have contacts from high school and close family friends that I'm ready to reach out to to ask for their help.

We were approved 29 days after hey received our RFE. When you get back you need to call and just say you are checking to see if there is anymore news since the site is not updated. You aren’t outside of normal processing time until middle of October but by the time you get back you’ll be close. I am still sure that because we were past 7.5 months and they filed the service request that it was approved. I’m betting you hear in the next two weeks.

247 days and still nothing...

Yes, we called USCIS and submitted a ticket, and asked us to wait an additional 45 days. (So until October 15th). We look at the old and new websites almost every single day, and I subscribed my fiancé to the USPS Informed Delivery.

I feel so powerless. Everyone is getting approved before us and it's incredibly frustrating. We have never been married before, never had children, and don't have any criminal records. We've known each other at least for 3 years before filing the petition. I don't know what to do or think anymore....

That is a long time , However your next action on the case could be on the way or in the mail within the next 10 days. For our RFE which we only found in the mail yesterday, we didn't get ANY update on the either of the websites. So yes , almost there . However for your mental sanity, try extend your expected timeline in your head to perhaps November 1st? Then ANY response earlier than that will be a pleasant surprise.  And if you still get anxiety by Oct 20th, call USCIS and the higher powers such as the congressman or senator or ombudsman for further help .

I know your pain, and I hope you get your response SPEEDILY. 🌼

Thank you for your kind words! They reassure me a lot :)

So far I'm trying my best to visualize my expected timeline after November 3rd. I got an appointment for a tattoo that day, (that I wanted to get before leaving) so I know that I have to pull through until then!

Fingers crossed!

Awww that's amazing, what tattoo are you getting? I wanted to get a tattoo too, because my Fiancé tattooed my name on his ring finger, and I've never had a tattoo in my life but I wanted to honour him the same way, and he said he wants to take me to the Black Ink , in New York, the one that I always see on TV and they always acting crazy 😆🌼..but YESS, I am so excited for your tattoo.. relax your mind on this slow process and enjoy your upcoming plans too. ❤ *SO EXCITED FOR YOU.🌼😆

This may be the answer to your wait:

https://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/privacy/privacy_pia_uscis_ibbcs.pdf

As part of its benefits adjudication process and as required by law, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) conducts background checks on petitioners and applicants who seek certain immigration benefits. These background checks consist of four separate checks against systems within Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In order to facilitate the collection and transmission of information necessary to complete background check processes, USCIS maintains five information technology electronic systems: the Fingerprint Masthead Notification System (FMNS), the Customer Identity Capture System (CICS), the FD-258 Tracking System - Mainframe (FD-258 MF), the Benefits Biometrics Support System (BBSS), and the Interagency Border Inspection System (IBIS) Manifest. USCIS is conducting this privacy impact assessment (PIA) because FMNS, CICS, FD-258 MF, BBSS, and IBIS Manifest collect, use, and share personally identifiable information (PII). This PIA replaces the previously published USCIS PIA for the "Background Check Service (BCS)" which describes planned background check-related systems that were never implemented. Upon publication of this PIA, the BCS PIA will be retired.

I'm not sure I understand.

Are they suspecting us of fraud?
