We sent everything but the kitchen sink for the k1, ROC and n400. My husband is from a moderately high fraud country, and I figured better safe than sorry. The k1 was approved amazingly fast, and the other two are on schedule. I figure that if you neatly organize and label everything, there's no need for a substantially larger submission to tick off the person who gets it. A mass of disorganized paperwork, yes. I reason that it's better to have it and not need it than risk an RFE. And, I sleep better knowing that I did everything I could to help this process!

Packet sent this morning to the CSC via Priority Mail. I got back to my desk and found the photocopies of the front and back of my green card in my desk drawer.

 

Not sure if that'll get me an RFE or a flat return of the entire packet. Damnit. x.x

Possibly. I was going to call tomorrow and ask for advice - if it's an RFE then a few more months on a process that takes almost 2 years isn't exactly the end of the world - especially as I'll be filing N-400 in 12 months anyway.

That would be fantastic but I don't remember making two copies. I can't be entirely sure - it took so long to assemble the packet! This made AOS look simple.

My first day to apply to remove conditions was 8/31/2018. I sent my package on 8/30/2018 and it was delivered on 9/4/2018! 

 

I guess I'll be a September 2018 filer

How did you send it?  By 2 day priority mail?  It did not get delivered until 9/4 because 9/3 was a federal holiday.

Yeah I believe so, I gave my husband the task to mail it out. I should have sent it earlier but didn't want to risk getting it sent back for arriving to early. My check still hasn't cashed and it prob won't for a while seeing how slow CA moves

I spoke with USCIS about my missing green card photocopies. They said my petition will still be accepted but I’ll be RFIE’d and it’ll delay processing. Oh well, the best outcome I could have hoped for. And I ruin my perfect filing record. :P
