My packet was delivered TODAY at vermont. Like it arrived at the location, but we haven't gotten an NOA or anything from them. I know that the filing location has changed now, but when we mailed it on Friday it was still saying Vermont. Are we still okay??

Sorry, I did not see your question until now. You should be fine as the change happened today. Anything sent today and later should go to TX and AZ though.

Hello fellow September filers!

Looks like I'm going to be hanging out with this crew for the next year biting my nails as we wait for this rollercoaster to end--fun isn't it?

As a warning, if you're filing today the service centers have changed!  It's a good thing I checked--Vermont and California are no longer accepting I-751 applications.

The service centers are now Texas and Arizona.

It's always good practice to verify before you send out.

I-751: 9/10/2018

Arriving: 9/11/2018

Texas Service Center

Can confirm. My packet was supposed to arrive in Laguan Niguel, CA at 8pm today. Upon checking on USPS website, my packet has been redirected to Huntington, CA. Hopefully it's on its way to Dallas, TX and doesn't get lost while in transit. I'm scared!

Where do you guys get the notification that you will receive your NOA1? is it in an email?

I received the actual letter in the mail. You should also be able to track your check or money order to get  a rough idea

The California Service Center has been really backed up. Seems like the folks who filed in early-mid August are just receiving their NOA1s now. VSC has been processing much faster.

If only I had been less prepared, I could have shaved 8 month off this charade. The irony is not lost on me. :P

If only I had been less prepared, I could have shaved 8 month off this charade.

I hear you. I was pushing to get in before the 9/11 changes in processing. Anyone know if those whose packets have been received in the mail got in under the wire? Or is it NOA1 date that counts?

Hopefully with other Service Centers being pulled in here, there's a chance CSC will speed up or our I-751s will be sent to another Service Center. So fingers crossed it helps us too.
