Seattle Office AOS Filers

Hi folks. I've seen a few people create local office topics, and didn't spot one for Seattle, so thought it might be a good way of keeping one another updated on how long cases are taking and other experiences.

From what I can see Seattle isn't one of the 'quick' offices, so hearing about other people's progress & successes will keep me going for a bit :)

Here's my timeline:

Adjusting from L1-A visa, married February 17th 2018.

July 12th - Mailed package to Chicago lockbox

July 16th - Package received in Chicago

July 24th - Checks cashed in the morning & received electronic notifications in the evening

July 29th - Received Paper copies of receipts

August 3rd - Received biometrics appointment notice

August 14th - Biometrics appointment

August 17th - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

Good luck, everyone!

Hello!

I applied for my N400 through the Seattle office and it’s taking quite a bit of time. 😩I don’t know if my timeline will be helpful, but I’ll add it just in case!

I don’t know all the dates at the top of my head (sorry!)

GC - June 2006

N400 Application submitted - July 29, 2017

Biometics Appointment - August 24, 2017

Case inline for an interview - August 28, 2017

There’s been zero change since then. I’m not going to lie - the wait and uncertainty is really weighing me down. I know it’s out of my control, but it’s still upsetting.

I hope you get your interview soon! 😊

Nothing here, but I noticed on the Case Processing times, Seattle's processing time for I-485 cases has slipped to 15 - 26.5 months 😧

Yeah, honestly I'm shocked. I can't help but wonder if there's been a mistake. I'll update if & when I receive anything else.
