  1. Update.. My pending I-751 was approved on 1/23 followed by approval of N-400 and oath ceremony schedule on 1/24. The oath ceremony is scheduled for 2/14 during which I will be travelling abroad. I Will go ahead and return the Oath ceremony appointment notice to Seattle office along with a letter explains the reason I won’t be attending the ceremony. I expect another appointment within 6 weeks. Good luck everyone!
  2. Sorry about that. It seems like your A-file has been transferred to Seattle. Congrats! I’m sure you will hear about your oath ceremony in the next few days or so. 18 months from the date they had their N-400 interview actually. LIN has some ridiculous timelines.. I use this link to track I-751 timelines: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/liftlist.php?op5=5,9,10,11,12 Mine is also pending on day 530, and I have already passed the N-400 test on 10/28.
  3. In addition to these theories, the delay in N-400 interview scheduling may be caused by the large number of people who passed their N-400 interview with a pending I-751. There is a huge backlog in the I-751 processing, especially for the LIN filers. I’ve seen people in this forum who passed their N-400 interview successfully and had to wait for up to 18 months to get their oath scheduled due to pending I-751.
  4. Congratulations for passing the interview. It looks like we are in the same situation with a pending I-751. Did they give you Form N-652 with box B (cannot make a decision…) checked? it has been 497 days since the last update for I-751. Ridiculous! It has been two weeks now since my interview, and I have not heard anything. I keep updating the status tracker throughout the day, and it is so annoying! I also have noticed in this forum that some people had to wait months before they got the approval following their interview. Please keep us updated on your case. Here are the cases that I’m currently tracking.
  5. Update.. I had my N400 interview a couple of hours ago and I passed the test. However, they were not able to make a decision as the I751 is still pending. They told me that a decision will be made after they receive my A-file. The interview took 15 minutes. I was asked about basic information (name, DOB, address..), then the civics test, and finally a few yes/no questions from the application. The following questions were asked for the civics test: 1. what does the Constitution do? 2. Name one branch or part of the government? 3. What ocean is on the East Coast of the United States? 4. What is one thing Benjamin Franklin is famous for? 6. How many U.S. senators are there? I will post an update whenever I hear from them. Feel free to ask if you have questions.
  6. Hey there. I also have a pending I751. Did you end up getting a combo interview? I would appreciate any details.
  7. Update (9/8): My interview is scheduled for 10/28. No email or text notification. Checked the app and noticed the change this morning. Went from hoping to get naturalized before December 2023 (18 months) to October 2022 (4 months). Seattle office has become one of the fastest offices to adjudicate naturalization applications.
  8. Thanks for sharing and congrats to your family. Did your wife have a pending I-751?
  9. Congrats! Is your I-751 still pending by any chance?
