You may be a little early as the Embassy probably hasn't flipped the switch to allow you to book just yet. Give a day or so and try again. Monday would be a good day to make that attempt.

Will wait for a week and see how that goes. Thanks

Sorry to come in here without an invite lol I got approved yesterday so I'm a September NVC  waiter (because a person that waits is now a waiter lol).

But have many of you had success in scheduling an interview while their case was still as "in transit"?

Yes. My fiance and I are going to Rio as well and we were able to book when it said in transit a few days after it changed to that. :D

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Just got the P3 checklist. I have now scheduled my interview for Sep 20th 🎉 Yesterday my fiancé sent me the affidavit of support, if it makes it here earlier than expected I will re-schedule for the 13th. Feeling very blessed right now!

Awesome! Congrats :)

May I ask how long it took from status "Ready" ?

Does anyone have an updated list of the packet (in Spanish) that is sent by the Colombian embassy before the K1 visa interview? I'm trying to pull together some of our evidence in advance so that things flow smoothly.

Also I spoke to a visa service but they haven't really fully answered my questions. In regards to a joint sponsor, is this generally frowned upon by the Colombian embassy?? I currently make above the minimum at my part-time job (about $32,000-$34,000, but this is hourly), but unfortunately I made less than $16,000 per year the past three years. So my income has only increased since October last year. Because of this, I have my father acting as my joint sponsor. Any advice in regards to the joint sponsorship and how it is viewed by the embassy? I'm pretty nervous about this part.

Thank you!

We called today and got our case number!

Tracking says it's still at NVC, so thinking I might wait a couple of days until they've sent it over to London before I book my medical and interview..

How to consider the situation without income in a year, but with the availability of money.

Earlier it was about 3-5 times more to multiply this amount in the table. I do not remember
Where to find this information
Thank you
