Hello every one,

How soon did you apply for your parents when they come here on a tourist visa?

You have to apply for I-130 when they are still at home. Those applying for green card on tourist visa will be denied due to visa fraud.

Thank you, I read on previous post people applying for their parents while they are here on a visa. That's the reason why I ask. Also, I heard about 90 days rule.

Hi Guys,

Need some information to file i-130 for my mother by my Brother who is a USC.

1) My Father died 4 years ago so in Spouse should I enter NA or provide my deceased father detail?

2) And should I enter detail of my father in information about beneficiary’s family?

3) My mother is a house wife so should I mention unemployed in name of current employer or should I entry NA as she is a house wife and never worked?

4) Supporting documents required are my brother naturalization certificate along with his birth certificate ?

Thanks

Depends on your service center. Ours was at Potomac. PD 7/2, approved 12/4 and 12/15. Both petitions are at NVC now, preparing for the case number. My parents are in Europe.

Sounds like they are at 7 months. Immigration timelines will show which month is being approved now.
