Here is my current timeline: June 29: mailed documents and check to Chicago lockbox July 2nd: tracking said delivered July 5th: Received text and email notification from USCIS - case routed to TSC for processing. Received first notice in the mail a few days later. My priority date is July 2, 2018 Good luck everyone!

I am From the States and my husband is from Nigeria,we both live and work in Qatar, Got married in 2018, but his tourist visa was denied twice. The immigrate officer suggested that he apply for the spouse visa on his last interview... So now we are processing a “spouse visa” so he can be able to meet my family....... My questions is 1. can I as an American citizen still live and work abroad while My husband stays back in the US with my family after our visits for a year or two to be able to keep the green card before he gets his citizenship.. 2. Or must I permanently move back to the US with him on these process ? Thanks
Chocobo posted a topic in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist VisasHi all, I'm a USC and I'm petitioning for my husband (Canadian) who is living in the US. Long story short, the form I-130 (and I-130A) and the form I-485 (with the other applicable forms) were sent in separately. 130 is in Potomac for processing, not sure yet about 485. We sent in documents, affidavits, and our son's birth certificate as the front load for our I-130, but now I'm thinking I didn't send enough. Has any one had experience with voluntarily sending in add'l information for the I-130?
