If its something you need a prescription for, either in the US or your country, I'd make sure you have a doctor note. Either way, leave it in the original packaging to show what it is.

If I am not mistaken, anything purchased outside of the US needs to be declared with the amount paid.

I have filled out many customs declerations and I list everything even most times it is never looked at.

just my 2 cents.....

Typically you only need to declare items that are going to remain in the US.  So, when I came as a tourist I would only declare gift items, but not my clothes or my camera which had all been purchased outside the US.  When I came on the K1 visa, I declared all the stuff I had with me, but not in detail.  I wrote something like "used personal effects – $4000).  Didn't have to pay any duties.

I am thinking of doing the same.. here are the stuffs that somewhat confusing to me whether to declare or not: dried fish (tuyo) - this is to declare 👍

Collagen powder drink - to state only the value or price 👍

But at which part of the custom declaration will i wrote the value? it seemed that the custom declaration is in a form of checklist..

Medicine - with doctors prescription.

To declare?

Thank you for the super big help.. please bear with me... first time to fly..
