Junies...can someone help me? We called the USCIS to inquire about our case, we got to actual operator that tried to be helpful though the claimed that our case number (WAC# that is cited on our NOA1) is not long enough. Did anyone have similar situation?

I have to admit that I am getting more and more frustrated and helpless at the same time 😭 😭😭

You need to input your whole case number including the letters. WAC will be 922.

Good luck!

You can go to https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/filterlist.php and search for dates.

These are from June 25 that were approved

I know that case# consist of letters and numbers. And I know that it is a legit case number since it works on both old and a new page. Plus the case tracker app. That is why I turn to you guys...seems like someone is playing a horrible joke on me.

What people are telling you, when you are calling USCIS before you can even talk to live person you usually have to input case number using your phone keypad. You need to enter entire number including the WAC part, which is 922. So if your case number is WAC1890340000 you will dial 9221890340000.

I hear you. The same here. Did you try calling?

I tried calling today at 800-375-5283 and was told that since I am only six and a half months and still within normal processing time to just wait. The person I talked to did say that nothing had been sent out. Gadzooks, am seeing July filers approved and wondering if my file is just gathering dust under someone's desk or what.

Thank you so much for your positivity 😃

I feel much better!

Could you please advise me on this issue  if possible.

Do I need to ask for a sealed copy of my certified final divorce decree from the court house?

Does it specify that it needs to be "certified" in the RFE?

Once you get your RFE, read over very carefully as you only have one chance to reply accurately without causing undue harm. Once you know what it is set out to correct and to include "everything" they are asking for. You do not need to include anything they are NOT asking for. So do what do will do. Then reread the RFE to ensure you are compliant. Make copies of everything for your record and send back using their instructions which are contained within the RFE. If the RFE requires a signature, PLEASE don't forget this. Once received at USCIS your case will begin adjudication where the agent had left off. No one can tell you how long it will take so be patient.

@Greenbaum here’s what I got. I went to the courthouse this morning and got the exactly same final divorce decree copy from them but it didn’t say (copy) on the corner and it is sealed.

Then went to the state office of vital records and got my certificate of divorce. Im going to send them both today. Anything else I need to be aware of please? 🌹

Just curious on if your fiancee is also divorced? If so you would also need a copy of their divorce decree as well as translated to English if it isn't already. It doesn't specifically state petitioner or beneficiary on there.

Just go back up and reread my post to ensure you have everything. Don't forget to make copies of the RFE (btw send the original RFE back to them and you keep a copy).

NOA1 was June 14th on the old website and June 18th on the new one. I am going freaking insane waiting to hear back from USCIS! :( my timeline said it would be between December 4th and 11th... UGH!

Therein lies the problem. Your depending on the visa timeline where many others hear have commented on the inadequacy that it can be and should only one of many tools you use to track your visa progress.

Do you know that I am going freaking insane because people stay in their little comfort zone and do not go into other threads and read what others are experiencing. It's amazing the number of tools on VJ that if one would spend more time exploring they would be so calm and not freaking insane with everything and everyone that is dealing with their process. Just freaking amazing.  Time for a palm slap. :(

Your joking right. You didn't know that you could be waiting for the duration of the "normal processing time" and that if someone is getting approved before you there are so many different parameters that are checked and that there is a possibility that they have an easier application then yours. Or the country from which they immigrating from could be problematic for the US.

Gadzooks, another one without patience and not knowledgeable about the process and why something is taking so long but quick to blame the governmental agency. Collecting dust under the desk. Boy that one I haven't heard.  Oy Vey :(
