1 question I have though is on my I 797, both petitioner and beneficiary is my name. I double checked my I 751 before mailing and every information was correct I believe. Does anybody have the same issue on their I 797? Thanks in advance!

Same for me as well...I was paranoid thinking I made a mistake too but I guess that’s how they doing it now.

Same here Sent 17 they got it @ 21 NoA sent out was 28 Receved yesterday and Benficary. Name is petitioner name.

I did some research online and came to a conclusion that you can still work even if your GC is expired. Although your physical Green Card may expire, your lawful status as a U.S. permanent resident does not. Also, i read some where that once you have a green card you hold legal status in the U.S. until you abandon or lose it. Since, we already filed for I-751 and it has not been declined, we didn't loose legal status so we can still work in U.S.

Good to know. My husband's employer is newly established as their own non-profit, and they won't know about this sort of stuff. I want to be prepared to defend him haha. Thanks again!

Yes, they waived based on the means-tested benefits. This is from this year, 2018. As far as the timing, I only know that I had heard that sometimes it can take a bit of time to get your NOA1 when you include the fee waiver as they must approve the fee waiver first before they accept the I-751 application and issue the NOA1. But as you can see in my case at VSC my wait times are comparable with others in my group. Going forward from NOA1 to approval of ROC, if that is what you are asking, I have not seen or heard of anyone having any different experience after their I-751 application is accepted and NOA1 issued whether fee waiver or no fee waiver. I hope I have answered your question. This is our first time applying with fee waiver so if is new for us too.
