We're a PIVOT case and we submitted all our documents on the 22nd May. I feel like there's nothing faster about being PIVOT. By the way, what's this about the NVC only scheduling interviews at the end of the month? How do you all have such insider info?

When the supervisor is envolved with the case .can he expedite the date of interview too????

This is what I personally think.Expert advice needed on this.Still I feel you can do it by contacting both Nvc and your embassy.Even if a supervisor is not involved I guess still u can expedite the date..

Once you get your case number how long until you get the invoice number for the DS-261 form?

Non-pivot case.

You have to wait until you get the Welcome letter Email from NVC. Which will be soon you get in email.

Non-pivot case.

We called the NVC and got both the case number and invoice number over the phone.

Next we logged into CEAC and filled and submitted the DS-261 form and called the NVC again to review the form over the phone.

After the agent reviewed our DS-261 we were invoiced for the IV fees (in our case we are exempt from the AOS) which reflected on the CEAC site 3 days later.

Our payment is still in process but as soon as it shows as paid we will be able to file the DS-260.

We are also a non-ivot case.

We also didn't feel the 'privilege' of the electronic process. First waited for 10 weeks to get the case number. Now it's been 17 days since we submitted our documents. Nothing yet

17 days. Oh I was so hoping you'd say something like "It's been 7 days."

They give you just enough to keep the blood boiling constantly. I'm so anxious about these last few steps. After waiting so long.
