Wow. That's some bullshit. Worse than my situation, sounds like they didn't even touch your case after receiving it. Why would they send it to a local field office? I thought only service centers are able to adjudicate the petitions.

There is still more options available. Start with option 1.

USCIS provides a free service called InfoPass that allows customers to schedule an appointment with USCIS through the internet. [3] Whenever possible, customers or their representatives who reside in the United States (domestically) should use InfoPass to schedule appointments if they would like to discuss their cases in person at their local USCIS field office. Customers and their representatives may also use InfoPass to cancel or reschedule appointments.

Customers residing overseas should review the International Immigration Offices overview page to determine which office has jurisdiction over their country of residence and information on scheduling appointments.

AND...... Is Your Immigration Petition Taking Too Long? Get an Answer Now: Sue the USCIS. Here is the explanation and this is not an endorsement for any legal services. Just sharing some information via a link. From <https://www.fitzgeraldlawcompany.com/media/press/uscis-law-suits.php>

November filer here - our case status was listed as READY on October 4th but the Embassy claims on the 17th of October that they don't have our packet yet.  On the same day they then updated the READY status with the October 17th date.

I spoke with NVC who told me they sent the packet via DHL as well as scanned it electronically to the Embassy.

Did they lose our petition ?  Or did they overlook it ?  It's difficult to reach the embassy via telephone but I'll try again on Monday.

Any suggestions?

What probably took place is your electronic version tripped the "ready" light but it's not ready till the physical file has been received via DHL. Your call prompted them to look for you case file and "touch" it hence the 10/17 update. I'd say you are good to go. No need to call. Start you next steps, follow the P3 letter. I don't have a copy but if and when you get one, could you be so kind as to share it with me. I use them to help others who will come behind you.

It will be what you print after you schedule your interview appt on this site (for Mexico):

http://mexico.usvisa-info.com

It will be the last step of registering.

And you need to bring it to your interview.

Ok thank you because everywhere I search it looks different then the one I printed.

As long as you printed it from YOUR Visa interview scheduling registration then what others look like is irrelevant. I'm sure they change the set up/ wording of the receipt from time to time at each embassy.

If you pressed "print" and did that you are fine.

Her son is blessed to continue the interview . The question is when will I be able to reschedule the interview because if I wait the 2 months for the results then I'll have to wait 4 more months or so for an actual interview man am I dressed someone please help me with some information
