yes. it is a brochure in Packet 3.

Just fill out DS160 and save it, but don't submit.

Hi.Im now confused.I thought we could schedule an interview without receiving the packet 3. If you will not complete the DS-160 and submit it you cant schedule right?

Well i guess ill just have to do the same..I was gonna schedule medical and interview.Two persons already told me that i can schedule it without the packet 3 as long as i have the email from NVC with our Manila case number.

Hmmm. Well, I am not sure about your country. But I just don't want to take any risk, and also the expiry date of the visa seems to be 6 months from the day we take medical exam. So I don't wanna rush the medical exam if it's going to take some time to get the interview.  In the country I interview, the interview will only be assigned by the embassy, so there's no point for me to rush any steps... lol. Just want to be on a safe side.

It is my understanding that in the Philippines you can schedule your medical and interview as soon as you have a case number from NVC.

Once you get your case number you follow the links I gave you. This is what happens when you'll ask someone from another country what to do in your own country. They are trying to understand what to do for their own country and process. A place like this is for going through a phase of your application with others like yourself, not to mention to "b^i*tch" about how terrible the process is etc etc. You need to be in the sub-forum for the Philippines and ask your questions there. If you will not complete the DS-160 and submit it you cant schedule right? I have posted this before and I'll say again - The DS-160 is a document that stands on it's own. In other words, it has nothing to with nothing except for the CO to use your answers to adjudicate your case. So, you can submit before your case number or you can submit it the day before your interview. It doesn't matter   The DS-160 has no baring on the scheduling of your interview.

I hope I have been helpful but you have to help yourself. I gave you a gold mine of information. Not even a IM Lawyer, that charges $2,000USD for less information then what I gave you. The only payment I want is a nice cold RED HORSE.

SLEC medical wants the Interview letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) or Visa Interview Appointment Confirmation from the Embassy (just print off a screen shot of the confirmation page once your appointment has been secured) either or.

 

• Principal Applicant - original & 1 photocopy
• Derivatives - 1 photocopy each

 

If Interview letter or Visa Interview Confirmation was received via email, print 2 copies for the principal applicant and 1 copy for each derivative

 Like I stated in an earlier post. You do not have to wait for anything to submit the DS-160.   Zero, zilch, zip, nada, nothing! You can even complete before your approved.

Then you need to change your country flag. The flag is there so anyone immediately will know what Embassy you are processing through so they can tailor their answers to your Embassy. You may want to consider changing it or others will make that same mistake.

#4 is what prevents people in China from getting a head start, they want the instructions page mailed back with the requested documents. If you find anything different then what I posted here can you scan and email a copy of the P3 letter. I use for folks just like yourself. PM me when you get the P3 if you will. Thank you.

Hey guys, just some update. I just got package 3 from US consulate in Guangzhou via EMS, after 6 days being "READY". Since I already prepared all the documents, I just sent those materials back to the consulate,  And it's exactly like what @Greenbaum said in the post. Thank you very much for the useful information you provided.
