We had an email from them saying that our case was in transit, and when I checked the following day our status said ready. As soon as that status changed, I completed my DS160, and booked my medical and interview. I didn’t wait.

Thank you! It's still sitting at the NVC for us. I got a case number Tuesday so I am assuming it's going to take a while before they "ship" it lol. Once he gets the ok to book he is scheduling it right away.how was your experience for the medical andinterview?

They sent ours as soon as they issued a case number, so I think was unusually quick.

Uhhh... my medical was ok. I was in and out pretty quickly. I thought that I’d provided sufficient evidence from my GP regarding my mental health but apparently not so that has been delayed. I sent an email 3 days ago and foolish me didn’t check to confirm that they’d received it. Called them today and they hadn’t, so I’ve had to send it again and now the process is delayed even further.

Interview was a breeze. I was asked two questions “how did you meet?” and “where will you be living?”, answered this and she said that I’ve been approved.

Wow not bad at all though! Hopefully ours goes quick and easy! I'll keep on top of NVC to see where to is lol

If you are referring to Part 1 Question 10 is not your WAC# or your NVC case #. You would leave it blank.

I'll take a look what question it is.. so my fiance is selling his house just accepted an offer. He is worried that the house will close before we finish this visa. He is going to move into hisparents until approved. On the DS 160 should he put their address or will that confuse things?

In which way did you receive the instructions to prepare everything for the interview and medical exams? by email or by regular mail? and who received that letter? the person who is in the USA or the beneficiary?

Everything came via email but it was all after the fact.  I think I got the emails first, but she had already scheduled her interview and completed her medical long before.  Once your visa status is ready, you are good to go and all of the info contained in the letter is available in so many places online already.

Keep in mind though, every Embassy is different so yours may have unique requirements that are not part of our experience in the Philippines.  Be sure to talk with folks who are experiences with your Embassy and research the information from the Embassy's site

Is your fiancé the beneficiary or the petitioner? Once the I-129F is submitted and he/she has received the NOA2 then there is no need to have a "correct" address as nothing further will be mailed to the petitioner. If he is the beneficiary, then yes use the new address on the DS-160 and change your address at USCIS.

Hi, I have a quick question. My application left NVC and was CEAC status changed to READY at the same time as yours. But status was changed again to AP two days ago, we haven't received P3 yet. Did your case status also change to AP prior to P3? Thank you!

When your date of status stops changes, it means the consulate is sending your package 3.

My status was changed to AP the day it arrived the consulate. Then the date of status had been changing everyday since June 20. And boom, I received package 3 on June 21.

So don't worry, keep an eye on your status, when the date stops changing , your P3 is on the way.

@y2013 I am sorry that my expression here is a little bit confusing. It should have been "I just got package 3 from US consulate in Guangzhou via EMS, after 6 days being "READY" to "AP". :D:D

Thank you so much for your reply. The “last update date” is still changing.. I hope we can get P3 soon.. are you able to select an interview date yet?
