Good idea re: NOA1. I know we shouldn't have anything to be afraid of, but we're living in a crazy time. Thanks.

No worries! Have a nice trip. :)

Yes and better be safe, right. Maybe make a photocopy of the NOA1 for him to carry around so you don't have to worry about getting a new one from USCIS, should you lose it.

yes, they do. But be aware that some applicants will get their "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" notice faster than you ( doesn't matter if their priority date is after yours). Let's pray that we get lucky

Ok, I see! Yea, don't know if that is a good idea and when I try to search any near mine are RFE or rejected, LOL. Just something else to check daily and obsess over to pass the time.

However I did come across one saying biometrics complete and they are reviewing fingerprints, and as of the 7th our update was:

As of July 7, 2018, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status,

so it seems that is a good thing! A little ahead of the others around us!!

I'm just curious, when your hubby apply for the job, he just tells the employer his EAD is in process? Or how the works? Cos I want to look for a job too.

Thanks so much for the respond. So, i-864 just like what i submitted and not i-864a  coz he is not in out household right?

I thought I replied, but it seems I forgot to press send (my bad).

Anyway, the form should be I-864 for a joint sponsor. Did you manage to send it in the meantime?

So I got an email "update" this morning. I have no idea why they sent it because nothing has changed on any of my cases when I look them up - they all still have the original NOA1 notice and nothing more even though we did Biometrics a month ago. Does anyone know what this notice really means? Like maybe they are sending our case to the Atlanta office? Or is it supposed to reassure me that they haven't forgotten us? lol

Also, it says we last took action on June 27th and that is not showing on either of the check status websites. So weird.
