No problem!  there was a lady who had the interview time at 8:30, she wasn’t done until 12noon. So i would say averaging 3 hours, might take longer for some....

my appt was at 7:55 Am on aug 20 and it was a combo interview and i was out of the building at 8:30 AM. it just depends on the IO and your case. i got the approval today at 4am

I had my interview on Aug 12 at 8:25 AM. I was called in for interview at exactly 8:25 (to my surprise) and was out of building by 8:45. Got approval notification @ 11 AM.

My wife's interview was 2 days later at 9:30 and she had to wait like only 5 minutes before she was called in. She got her approval 5 minutes after the interview was over. We were still in the building.

Atlanta is definitely getting much better now :)

So I had my interview yesterday. There were so many people, it took 3 hours for me to to see an officer. I did get my interview letter only 4 months after filing so I guess the 3 hour wait was worth it. The officers were all grumpy and I just so happened to get the grumpiest one of them all. Very mean looking, he was telling me how he can't wait to get off work, and hopefully I don't take up too much of his time smh.

He asked me several questions about my previous marriage so be prepared if you obtained your GC through marriage. At the end he gave me the form saying that my application has been recommended for approval but my status has not been updated yet.

11/01/13- Mailed AOS Package
11/03/13- USPS update- Package delivered
11/08/13- Texts received for acceptance of all 3 forms
11/13/13- Received NOAs for I-485 and I-765. No I-130?
11/18/13- Biometrics Appointment letter received
11/19/13- Successful biometrics walk in
11/27/13-Received RFE
12/16/13- Sent requested evidence
01/08/14- Case status changed to Testing and Interview
01/16/14-EAD received!

06/12/14- Interview. Approved on spot!

Sounds about right about the Atlanta field office staffs lol.... the IO officer who interviewed me kept yawning.  Can tell they want to get off work ASAP 🤣

Anyway, you are almost there!

Exactly... it was so crowded when i had my interview.  they have to deal with a lot of people and the amount of paperwork on a daily basis.

That is great!  Now just relax and be ready for the ceremony!

You should be able to see the pdf letter on the date/time in your USCIS account, no?

Hi all, I applied for Naturalization in March 2019 and received interview letter for interview in Greer, SC. May field office is Atlanta and that office is approximately 177 miles which is strange.

MrsCrabs please let me know how was your interview experience at Greer, SC office as it appears from your posts that same thing happened to you as well.

Any advice about my situation would be greatly appreciated. Should I go there or ask for change on interview location to Atlanta field office.

Thanks
