I attended my Oath ceremony today. It started at 2.15 pm on the dot and took about 10 mins maximum. We checked in and returned our GC was seated inside the ceremony room afterwards. There was about 20 people attending. IO was very quickly had us took the Oath of Alliance and we were done. There was another ceremony of 20 people before and after us so they are doing ceremonies non stop. I am glad i conclude my immigration journey as of today. Now headed to Passports forums you can find me hanging there

Reached out to Senator Loeffler's case worker to see if they could provide insight regarding why ATL seems to be lagging behind in scheduling and I received this e-mail:

 

Please see below response from USCIS-Atlanta, while they confirm you are in line for scheduling, they cannot provide a definitive time frame. If you don’t hear anything in 60 let us know so we can follow-up.

Dear SENATOR'S CASEWORKER,

 Ponjor's husband's case is currently in line for interview scheduling.  He will be scheduled for the next available interview date. 

 Please feel free to follow up in 60 days.

 

I asked the senator's caseworker if he has seen interviews being scheduled and I'm waiting for his reply. I really feel like we aren't even going to see people be rescheduled or scheduled until August

That’s who I was gonna contact but I saw she wasn’t immigration friendly. Well sounds like the same thing I would receive if I contact her. I messaged USCIS and they replied with a very similar message you got from Loeffler’s office.

 On the bright side  at least August is one day away. 
Finger crossed we start getting interview next month.

I contacted Perdue as well, but getting someone on the phone/to follow back up with you is horrible! I'm hoping to hear something back from USCIS before the caseworkers follow up date with USCIS on 8/24.

That seems like a pretty detailed albeit vague answer from USCIS.

So Purdue's office finally got back to me:

Yes, they (USCIS) have started doing interviews again.  Sorry, but I cannot give you a timeframe because it depends on where you are in the queue. 

 

I've noticed that we don't have a lot of ATL users on VJ, so maybe people are getting scheduled and rescheduled and we just won't know because they're not on a forum.

 

I just hate that there is no transparency with this process. Like, how many interviews will the office be conducting a day? How many of those are people who need to be rescheduled? How many people are in the queue? Are we really waiting on the next available interview date and if so, how far out would that be?

This whole process has me like

Yeah this whole process is making me feel the same 😅. Well the ombudsman said they can’t help me because I’m still “Within processing time” with I-751 and N-400. So they closed the request I sent them.....🙃

Wow, really? Your I-751 is about to turn 2 years old in a couple of months. What kind of processing time are they going off of (Probably the official one that somehow gained an extra year in processing overnight )

Have you made any congressional inquiry or just the ombudsman?

Just ombudsman. I know it’s crazy. I’m almost 2 years in with I-751.😢

Maybe you can try Purdue (but just know you'll need to follow up with them repeatedly before they get back to you) and your congressperson.

Well I might not because We are planning on moving to Salt Lake City, Utah in about a month and a half. So we’ll see if we get any news this coming month...but if not well hopefully my cases get transferred to Salt Lake City and my interview will take place there.

I went ahead and contacted Loeffler. Let’s see what they say. I completed the uscis privacy form and sent it through email. How long did it take for them to respond to your request for help?

I sent ours via fax last Friday and called Tuesday to confirm it had gotten to the caseworker.  The caseworker was off on Monday, but reached out to us today.
