Not a definitive prediction, but the most recent transfers suggests that CSC gives cases to NSC, and VSC gives cares to TSC.

As long as it doesn't go to the bottom of the pile and they still go in sequence i'm fine. Joe's biometric is Monday. i'll see when the next update is based on getting that completed.

Someone was asking if the transfers could mean interviews. that's a lot of interviews they would be scheduling if that is the case. Let's hold on to a slimmer of hope that they are just trying to spread the workload. Last April, our cases were delayed due to the H1B cases needing to be filed/entered. I don't know if that has to be done every April or if the deadline for H1Bs change every year, but they could just be preparing for that and sending the cases to continue in the process without further delay. i'm trying to be optimistic. 😁

Id just like some movement on mine.

https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ shows no movement since biometrics last June

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/logon.do show "At this time USCIS blah blah call the contact center"    - the time I did they tried to schedule be an appointment for a passport stamp, only for the local office to say I cannot just yet

They are getting ready for the H1B season to begin, which usually occupies a lot of workforce for a month.  It doesn’t mean though that they are taking any adjudicator away from family-based petitions.  It just means that the initial stage (which is handle primarily by contractors) is busier in April than other months.  Now that I-751 goes to Lockbox system too, that should help with the data entry delay.

About the interview, that is plain wrong.  It is like the person who posted it did not even read what the link was saying.

I am a March 2018 filer at Vermont Service Center.  The lastest movement in terms of timeline I can share with you that we know definitively is:

A bulk of mid-March filers (maybe 5-7

days worth of filing days) were transferred to Texas.  Mine was filed on 3/23 and it has not yet been touched (but it could be soon transferred too, who knows?).

So if the workload transfer stops, and they continue to work on what they have left, I am “estimating” that the rest of March will be adjudicated by early June.

I am “guessing” you will start to see some movement in April for April 2018 filers if they choose to transfer more cases out to other Service Centers.  If not, nothing will move until someone in Vermont gets to your case.

I think it is better if they dont move the case to another pile at another office...

I am torn about that (getting transferred or not).

VSC files have been going to Texas who has shown a constant flow of approvals at about 2 months after transfer date.  This is true for the batch of CSC that was transferred to Texas in January 2019.  A lot of them are now seeing approval coming in everyday.

If that pattern holds, getting transferred also allows you to see a finish line.  If files stay at Vermont, we have no idea when they will be worked on or if they will eventually be transferred too.

Anyone else get multiple updates on the same day? I’m hoping that they are just multiples of the same and my case didn’t get transferred 3 times in one day.

I filed on April 12, 2018 at the California Service Center.

Hubby's case was transferred to another office as well, VA to be exact. Any of you that have their cases transferred will be applying for N-400?? We are debating whether  it is a good idea or not?
