I just checked on the website still said case recieved..did u did fingerprint last year?also which app are u using to see?

I checked the USCIS case status website. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

But, the DHS Account Login says "Case was Received".

My guess is they mass updated case statuses for alot of people. I never got a biometrics letter or anything.

Guys - I just checked my case and just today the status changed to "Fingerprint Review has been completed". This status changed just this evening. I would be pissed if they are just catching up! I filed on April 16, 2018. Application was recieved on April 18, 2018. NOA on June 1, 2018. WAC181885XXXXX

@GBOS what on earth is going on

@Cougarfalcon83 - Got a hold of someone I know and he said that they always are testing the system and today is one of those days they accidentally clicked “alert everybody” (I am using the term in exaggeration manner, but you get the idea), and the call center blew up because people got these “alerts” in texts and emails and many of them signed on to their account and didn’t see any change, or see old status repeating itself.

False alarm, in my opinion.

This is weird .

Our case revived date with CSC is April 14th .

and when I checked in online account there is  no update and it just says case received .

but when I tried case status tracker it won’t even recognize the receipt number .

and I see people who filed after my filing date are getting updates .

is it bcz of case being transferred bcz ours wasn’t

I am not sure about the processing now does anyone have the same issue ?

I got an email sent to me early this morning.

Logged into my account to check and saw they approved my Fingerprint (I didn't have any Biometric appointment so I guess they used the old one)

I sent my I-751 on April 19, 2018.

They sent me NOA on May 29, 2018.

They sent 18 months extension on June 29, 2018.

Have not received anything else until this morning Feb 28, 2019.

I know some of you trying to check and see your case has nothing or they don't recognize you receipt#.

I read one of the topics somewhere in this forum, someone said there are 2 USCIS websites (old and new). The old one will give you no update. But the new one will.

Simply go to the new website: https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant , create new account (you can use the same email you have with the old website to create new account)

They will send you an email for verification, and now you can have all updates of your case.

I guess they start working on April case now which is a good news for us, don't know how long it will take for the process after the Fingerprint, but hopefully we all can have an approve soon next few weeks.

I think you are correct. I checked app tracker and most of receipts around my cases have the same message, but https://my.uscis.gov/ shows nothing else.

May I ask what is your first Case# first 5 digit (mine is # WAC18186XXXXX). My case was received by USCIA on 04/20/2018, we're almost similar in timeline.

Okay so by seeing all these updates I called in uscis .

they couldn’t find my case so transferred me to immigration officer helpline .

finally got an update that bio metric is scheduled for March 12 and notice is sent out last week so expect it anyday now .

Things are moving forward !!!
