Threw a tantrum this morning about not receiving news about my EAD. Brethren, it is with a thankful heart that I announce to you that my status changed to “ card was mailed to you” exactly at 6:25 pm Eastern Time. My phone notifications vibrated quite vehemently on receiving the message. I don’t know whether there are forces monitoring our complaints on VJ but I’d like to implore others who are yet to get theirs to hold on a bit. Blow up USCIS customer Care line and on a lighter note, complain on VJ.

old website updated but not the new one!

Did you get the tracking number in the email? I didn’t get any text or tracking number, just a change of status on uscis website.

My wife’s and daughter ead +ap Card status changed today to card has been mailed. We have waiting to travel to visit my wife parents not seen them for 2 years. Could not travel since visa expired in aug. going out in November to visit them great relief!!!!

New website seems to be getting update next day morning.for some reason although the old website not so detailed it updates real-time

I filed the I-130 petition in April and just submitted I-485 last month (have already received the notice). My priority date is April 18, am I considering an April filer or an august filer?

Does anybody know whether i have to sign to take delivery of my EAD from USPS? Or do they leave it in the mail ?

Did anyone else have a mini stroke when they got the USCIS case tracker notification that there’s a service outage?  Thought there was some movement on my application. GUESS notttt

They leave it in the mail
It's like every other mail with USCIS

that's the USCIS website. On that page, it has the form and the instructions
The instructions tell you what documents u need

You can set up your profile on the usps inform mail website and when they send you your tracking number you can do it on there

Just went on got my drivers lisence with my ead approval notice

I’m confused now. My husband got his SSN with the DHS authorization, and then I got a notification saying that the employment auth. Card was mailed to me 6 days ago. Are they talking about his SSN? How can they send that and not the EAD card? He went on a job interview thinking all he needed was the SSN and they are requiring him to have an EAD card too along with the SS card? I’m so confused right now 😩

Your EAD IS your authorization to work from DHS. So you will need that.

Yes but we also applied for AP too so I’m seeing it’s supposed to be a combo card, but I don’t see anything about advanced parole on it...no stamps or anything just the SS card with the authorized to work with DHS
