I applied Form I-130 and Form I-129F , I'm already married , today I got the notice says on my I -129f :

“On March 3, 2018, we closed your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number LINXXXXXXXX, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means.

And my  i130 is still the same says “Case Was Received”

Is it good news , I am guessing my case is being processed?

Was this a K-3?  If not, why did you file the I-129?   Your I-129 was closed by USCIS. It looks like what happens when a K-3 is converted to a CR-1/IR-1.

Those rarely work. It also looks like they dropped the k3 and are just leaving you as cr1.

Idk if I'm missing something, but the k-3 is not a I-129? and a k-1 a 129F?

The op first image says "petition for Alien (fiance(e))". Why fiance if the k-3 is for married couples.?

From the USIC web site:

"If you are a U.S. citizen and you filed a Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative for your foreign spouse who is abroad, you can also file a Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e). This is the first step for your spouse and his or her children to obtain a visa to come to the United States while you wait for USCIS to make a decision on the Form I-130. "

Thank you! now I see the origin of the mistake. They should fix the term "fiance(e)".

Well, this is what happens when an I-129F is filed for a spouse.  Visas are not converted.  USCIS doesn't issue or convert visas.  They just close the I-129F case because there is an I-130 filed.  They do this because NVC will close it anyway.  The K3 visa is, for all intents and purposes, DEAD.  It died February 1, 2010.

I-129F is used for both K-1 and K-3. K-1 is for a fiance and K-3 is for a spouse. K-3 is effectively obsolete, though.

I-129 is to petition a worker. Just one letter off but a very different form. :P

And my  i130 is still the same says “Case Was Received”

Is it good news , I am guessing my case is being processed?

I'm in the same boat. I submitted an I-130 and I-129F. My I-129F was closed for the same reason they gave you. They say mine was closed on February 26. Unfortunately, I still have heard nothing about my I-130. I called USCIS the other day and I got a useless "your case is still in process" answer. So I'm really not sure what's going on. I was very hopeful that the notice of the I-129F being closed was good news for an I-130 approval. But so far, nothing. 2 weeks later now. Maybe I'm just too impatient? It's just hard when you get really excited and then nothing comes and USCIS will give you no answers.

Let us know when you get your I-130 NOA2.

What's going on is you are waiting your turn for somebody to spend about 30 minutes with your file.  It's a black hole.
