Timeline

I got this email from the embassy after waiting 3 weeks after my fiancé’s interview. Of course I replied within 10 minutes of receiving the email, call now! 15 hours later , no call. Not sure if good or bad news is coming..............

I don't know if that is good news or bad news, but hopefully they just need to talk with you about something (paperwork, financials, etc.).  Good luck!!!

Hey Guys,

 

So I've had my medical in London and im waiting for them to just send off the notes to the embassy and i have already scheduled an interview for the 5th of June... i was just wondering, time wise how long after they take my passport will i get it back and be able to go to the states? just in the ball park so i know what to expect?

We had his passport back the next week, I think. But I'm not familiar with the London embassy. I would not book the plane tix until you have the visa in hand. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but unfortunately, so much can go wrong :(

It can be as short as 3 days to months. We are at 3 1/2 weeks now and even after an enquiry we’ve heard nothing .
