No problem.. it would be important to follow the visa thread you came on so you know what you need, the requirements etc.

Yeah I know all my individual requirements! I want to share my March filing experiences with others who are doing AOS, and help out too if I can!

02/14/18 - Married :wub: 

03/02/18 - AOS Sent 

04/02/18 - Biometrics appointment @ Field Office

04/16/18 - Courtesy letter received re: Medical

07/17/18 - EAD card in production, AP approved

07/21/18  - Combo card in hand

10/18/18 - GC Interview  (Approved on the spot)

student visa, so I am filing the same forms as you guys + medical and i-130

02/14/18 - Married :wub: 

03/02/18 - AOS Sent 

04/02/18 - Biometrics appointment @ Field Office

04/16/18 - Courtesy letter received re: Medical

07/17/18 - EAD card in production, AP approved

07/21/18  - Combo card in hand

10/18/18 - GC Interview  (Approved on the spot)

Hey guys,

 

Filing AOS from K1 here. Sent my package on 21st Feb - supposed to arrived on 23rd Feb. However I lost my tracking number (got mistakenly thrown away as a receipt :angry:) so not 100% sure it definitely reached the lockbox...fingers crossed, but starting to pull my hair out a little!

 

Hope everyone elses AOS journey goes smoother than mine so far!

8/16/17 --- AOS Packet received Chicago USCIS Day 0

8/21/17  --- Received email & text notification 

8/23/17  --- Received hard copy of NOA  

9/01/17  --- Biometrics letter notice for I-485 & I-765 & I-131  

9/11/17  --- Biometrics Appointment Done

10/17/17 - Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

11/30/2017 - EAD/AP Approved
12/01/2017 - Card in Production
12/05/2017 - Received Approval Notice in the Mail
12/06//2017 - Card Mailed (Priority Mail) to Me
12/07/2017 - Card Received 

1/19/18  --- Interview Date 2/21

2/21/18  ---  Approved on the Spot

  • 1 hour after the interview received uscis mobile app alert
  • Status changed from "Interview is scheduled" to "New Card Is Being Produced

2/26/18  --- Received hard copy of NOA for the Green Card

2/26/18  --- USCIS Mobile Status changed to "Card was mailed to me"

2/28/18 --- Permanent Resident/Green Card received :jest:

Hi guys! Received the three texts and emails at midnight! Says received date feb 23 for AP and work permit, and march 5 for fingerprints fee.

Guys, I have a question: my receipts all stArt with MSC, which means missouri office.. but my local office would be pittsburgh PA. Does it happen to everyone before its transferred to local offices?

That is correct, although all your receipt numbers starts with MSC, only your EAD and AP are processed at Missouri, your AOS File (i-485) is automatically sent to your local office and they will verify all your docs and send you a interview notice once they are ready for it.
