Thank you Petes30!

I will follow this process and keep everyone posted.

finally for USCIS rep earlier today after being on phone for last couple of days for hours.

the rep took my information and gave some reference no and said they will call from local office within next 48-72 hours.

rep insisted that they could call on saturday too 🤔

For those of you who got rfe, what did you send as proof. I got a notice saying we have joint account but don’t show transactions. My husband pays for all the big bills from his account and I pay the small ones from mine. We use joint as a saving, so we end up forgetting about it. How do we approach this? I am scared if they are not satisfied with the docs we send rfe. What will happen next?

Hmm, was it all they wanted? Our RFE requested proof of good faith marriage in general and we sent tons of new stuff including our joint account from which we pay gas and electric bill.

Still waiting.... it’s been 15 months and 3 weeks... did not file For citizenship..

maybe it will take a while since we moved states who knows 😥

Let me share your pain. It’s been long and unfair process. They screwed up big time with my 2 year gc. , so, the first time took almost two years for me. What an incredible bureaucracy  and where does all that money from our fees go??

Did anyone else get a N-400 naturalization interview while they had not heard back from I-751?  If so, what did they do at the interview to address the I-751?  Did it come up at all or did they ask for documents from the I-751 application?  Did you ever hear back about the I-751, or did it just disappear?

If anyone with this experience could share, that would be greatly appreciated.

From what I seen on VJ, both interviews are conducted on the same day.

Is that all they asked?  I got RFE to show more evidence of good faith marriage - specifically saying that tax returns that I enclosed were not indicative of filing  - so I downloaded transcripts from IRS.  Then I added a lot of documents/photos/ etc.  We don't have joint accounts.

01/31/2015 : 129F sent

08/05/2015: TSC acknowledged that my RFE was received

I can’t imagine waiting two years the first time around! You have a lot of patience. I’m gonna try not to start worrying till October when it will be the 19 month mark hopefully you get some news soon too
