OMGGG!! The same thing happened to me last week! I called USCIS to request an EAD expedite last Thursday but haven't got any email. So I called them again yesterday (3/17) and the agent said the reference # I received last Thursday was wrong and she had to request a new expedite and gave me a new number lol

Just got off the phone with tier 2 officer; as an aside, they are strongly trying to discourage a tier 2 callback in my experience but if you persist you get a really short waiting time, mine was 23 minutes. 
 

She told me that my EAD was put on hold because of the RFE and never was taken off of it. But that my second expedite that I requested should nudge it once the officer that’s assigned to the expedite takes a look at my expedite request. It’s been 6 days since the expedite request, but not yet 5 business days so I have to wait until tomorrow before it surpasses the target date…

 

Guess I’m just gonna bother them every day now 😜

Honestly, when boiled down it basically translates to 'sit tight'. But at this point grasping at straws is better than grasping at nothing. This virus is throwing a wrench in a lot of plans. I think I'm just going to call every day and ask for a tier 2.

Yeah and being that they wont be taking in any in office appointments, the offices should combine and get alot of stuff up to speed.

i received my approval notice for both  Ap and AED this morning and it’s saying new card ordered

Just got off the phone with tier 2. He said the EAD expedite is still within the 30-45 days time-frame (whatever that means lol) so even with the RFE  taken care of, the expedite is still within the normal time-frame and today would make one month since the expedite was approved. They way he spoke, made me feel like imma get something soon lol.

 

Thinking about what he said, he very closely matches with VJ timeline for my EAD normal processing time, but will continue waiting and see.

When did u send the evidence to the USCIS? I sent them my documents on Friday and haven’t heard anything back from them yet.

Called earlier today, got nonsense information that contradicted what I was told before, requested tier 2, received a lot of pushback (I genuinely think they're instructed not to escalate to tier 2), after a lot of pushback finally escalated to tier 2 but instead of callback system I was put in queue with indicated wait time of 5 to 10 minutes. Tier 2 gave me information that contradicted with all the other people I had spoken to before (they're all saying something else). Supposedly I should wait the entire day, but tomorrow I can call to get it escalated (person before this person said to wait a week).

 

They all give a different time frame, but the thing all the people I had talked to had in common was that they indicated that the case was stuck on hold after the RFE and shouldn't be on hold anymore and that all it would take is for someone to look at the case, but they had no way of directly contacting the team that handles expedites. Now I don't know how true this is, everyone seems to say something different, but I figured that if that was the case, and all it takes is for someone to look at the case I know of a more direct way to get in touch with the people that handle expedites… 

So I basically resubmitted the requested evidence for the expedite through the fax with an updated cover letter, it might not do anything, but at least I know that someone what some power over the case will look at it which according to pretty much all of them is all it takes to realise that they've forgotten to resume processing it. We'll see, will keep you posted.

What I highlighted is basically what the agent told me yesterday because when I mentioned the whole it being on hold thing, he said it was a valid question and placed me on hold for a while while he checked, thats how he told me that my expedite was still within its timeframe. So basically they are saying, I gotta wait until April before I can really inquire about the expedite. What I did basically is used what you got out of them, back at them so I can try to get more info lol.
