Hey Guys,

I need help. If you are from Ecuador it would be better. So i just called NVC and they told me that today they finished reviewing my case. Buuuuuuuut they rejected my husband's (beneficary) birth certificate and our marriage certificate because they want to long form and i should wait for the email that explains more.

I'm freaking out like craaaazzzyyyy. The representative first was very rude and just seems like he doesn't love his life and when he was explaining it to me he was rushing and then told me they need the long form, from the Registro Civil of Guayaquil (Civil Registry of Guayaquil). For my ecuadorian people, both forms were the forms given to us on the day we got married from the Registro Civil of Guayaquil. So im just confused, and im really hoping they just ask my husband to bring it on the day of the interview.

If anybody has had a similar experience (would be awsesome from Ecuador) in any of your countries, help a girl out so she doesn't go crazy.

Thanks!

Quick question guys. I completed our DS-261 on 1/29 and paid the AOS fee the same day. I just called NVC and they say that they see my DS-261 and AOS fee are complete, but said that it will take up to three weeks for the IV fee to be invoiced..

How long after completing the DS-261 is the IV fee being invoiced so you can pay it? I hope it's not really three weeks. Thanks!!

Folks, have a quick question. My firstdocument package was scanned on 12/27 (SD1).  As my wife does not have her Birth cert,  I sent in her School transfer certificate  (translated).

A few days  later, I sent in the School Leaving Cert (Class 10)  which is accepted as secondary evidence .This  was scanned 1/2  (SD2).

1. Will this cause any delays ? I called this afternoon and the gentleman said check back in a week or two (not the usual 11 week one !).  Does this mean I am close to a cc ?

2. I checked in ceac just now and see "At NVC".

Am i CC ?

Hello, I called three times and confirmed that they attached the ds-260 to my docs. They told me that they have a high volume and could take up to 11 weeks. I really hope that we all get through this stage as soon as possible. Good luck everyone.

Now you have to wait in line for an interview. Yes we still have to play the waiting game... The time it takes to get an interview depends on the country's embassy. When I called and got a CC 01/31/18 the rep told me the countrys embassy sends them a list of all the available interviews and then they schedule as many people as possible... I'm waiting for my interview date... You can wait for the email or call once a day to ask... Because the email isn't sent right away

It depends on the country

Hello guys, I called yesterday and found out I have a checklist for police clearance, I was surprised coz I sent the correct one. I’m waiting for the mail so I can see what went wrong with it. Sd 12/29 the process is tiring after 5 weeks wait.

For those that had checklist, hope it didn’t take long to get cc ?

to receive case number from the time your documents are delivered to NVC ?  i sure hope not .....

my case was delivered to NVC on 22nd , I called NVC tonight they said no case # yet it can take UP to 2 weeks on  most occasion to receive your case #

on average i have seen it taking from 10-20 days from the time they received your case ,

My I-130 was approved on January 16 and I called the NVC and was told that it takes around 6 weeks for them to receive the documents and to get an NVC number, I'm so confused why is it taking that long when I am reading on here a lot of people received their NVC number in 3 weeks or less.
