I understand Malta is very reasonable.

So, what I gather is you just want your kid to be an American citizen and feel it’s your right to give birth here. Just so you know immigration has become very strict and tough. I have to assume once you have the baby you have no intent on leaving. If you are from China, Pakistan, or India and can afford $20,00-$150,000 why not have the baby some place else? Like Sweden? I hear their hospitals are beautiful. I’m sorry, us Americans citizens always get the short end of the stick because of people who want to beat the system and do things the illegal way. Our loved ones we try to bring to the USA through a very LONG, EXPENSIVE, STRESSFUL, and GRUELING process have it harder on them because of people who do things illegal. Birthing tourism is illegal. If anything Trump changes it should be that law. You shouldn’t be able to step into the ISA and give birth and automatically your kid has all rights as a citizen. Not trying to be mean just simply stating the truth.

I don't see anything wrong with coming to the US legally to give birth if you can afford it and leave soon after giving birth. As far as I can tell it is completely legal. You don't condemn it because you went through a "very LONG, EXPENSIVE, STRESSFUL, and GRUELING process" to bring your loved ones to US. So are you saying others must go through same rough process as yours for it to be legal? OP simply wants to know how to go about hospitals appointment, cost, POE experience, etc. please don't inform them wrongly.

...do good and good will be done onto you...

And Portugal, both very popular with people of means from my home country looking for Plan B passports. Most countries including Ireland and the UK have some sort of plan though the latter are a lot more pricey.

Once you get the passport you can of course move where you want.

I think we all agree that giving birth to a baby on US soil is a rather ineffective way to gain US citizenship if you have other options available.  Worse case the OP's visitor visa would get terminated (if determined OP was party to a lie during POE).  Best case, the OP would need to wait for 21 years...if the parental GC pathway isn't terminated...if the OP's child can sponsor both parents after reaching 21 (with US residency and sponsorship income).

The OP would gain no benefit by trying to overstay a US visa with a newborn.  I guess someone could - if they had someone to provide them a sustainable income, transportation, and/or a place to reside.  It would still be a rather bad idea.
