So walk in biometrics in Manhattan failed miserably.. And i went to 2 USCIS facilities..

12/3/2014: EAD and Advanced Parole in Production :dancing:

12/12/2014: EAD/AP Card received

1/23/2015: Interview is Scheduled for February 27!

1/28/2015: Interview Letter Received

3/10/2015: Greencard Received

 

12/3/2016: Filed i751 at California Service Center

 

12/4/2016: Filed N400 - Dallas TX

 

2/18/2018: i751 Case transferred to Local Office

2/26/2018: i751 Case received at Local Office

1/5/2018: i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

Guy said there's no walk in biometrics here (even though I heard multiple people who did it), and there's no travel urgency because you are applying for N400 so he basically told me to send the letter back and check the box thay says reschedule my appointment .. What a pain in the butt.

 

I'll be in Canada on that date and really wanted to get this done without a delay to my case..

That is a bummer! And your field office was in New Jersey? Was it crowded?

I'm a September filer, my field office is Newark, from my previous applications and experience, Elizabeth ASC does not allow for walk in and they can get pretty rude about it even though one time the place was dead with no one waiting to be finger printed, 

i live in central new jersey and im closer to the Mt laurel office, but Newark service my town. 

i did a walk in at the Philadelphia ASC, the lady gave me no problem i just went in after noon around 2:30 and the frot desk asked me why, i told her i have an exam... she gave me number and told me to wait, i did not even sit for 10 sec then i was in and out under 10 min. 

i hope this helps.

I have heard that sometimes they ask for proof like flight tickets and such. It's strange that they did not even do that? Perhaps too many walk ins has landed that facility in trouble.

Yeah i made sure I had proof of travel with me but his excuse was that an N400 is not an emergency case and i can travel and do everything else just fine even if the case is delayed so he wasn't budging

I know quite a few of us have I-751 still pending. I was hoping if we could get together a simple addition to the existing chart that will help us and the ones filing in the near future figure out how much of a pro or a con having the pending I-751 is when it comes to the N-400 Adjudication process. Its difficult to go to each ones timelines and situations and better to have it up front in the chart. I know for a fact that people who filed at CSC is moving along slower than VSC. Best to us all! 

Please let me or anyone on this thread know if you want to update any information on here.
