Submitted online today! We're also waiting on our I-751. Included copy of expired green card plus current I-551 stamp, but not the extension letter.

2016-11-03: Date on I-797 Notice of Action (received 11/7)

2016-11-09: USCIS mailed out denial of our original fee waiver request, with denial letter dated 2016-11-02

2016-11-19: Biometrics appointment notice issued, for 2016-12-07 appointment

2016-11-26: Second biometrics appointment notice issue, for 2016-12-16 appointment (see this thread)

2016-12-07: Biometrics appointment. Allowed to complete biometrics despite mix-up on their end (again see this thread), but some people had to come back for second appointment date.

2018-05-01: Notice that our case was transferred to National Benefits Center in Lee's Summit, MO

2018-06-11: Approved after N-400 interview in Portland, OR (they seemed to be waiting for that before bothering with it)

2017-12-11: N-400 Application for Naturalization submitted online while still waiting to hear back on I-751, received same day

2017-12-15: Biometrics notice

2018-01-04: Biometrics completed, on appointment date (Portland, OR)

2018-02-28: Interview scheduled for April 12 in Portland, OR

2018-03-01 (approximate): We sent in a letter requesting that the interview be rescheduled to after June 8, due to combination of work and family travel plans

2018-03-07: Notice that our April 12 interviewed had been "canceled" (pending rescheduling, but the letter didn't actually say that; officer at InfoPass later explained that interviews aren't scheduled until five or six weeks before the interview date, so they were waiting until closer to our requested rescheduling window)

2018-05-03: New interview scheduled for June 11.

2018-06-11: Citizenship interview - approved!

Once you receive your NOA the website will update a new row called estimated case completion time. Also added NBC/IOE

So my NOA1 is coming in the mail today and i noticed the return address says "Overland Park, KS".. has anyone heard of this facility before? It's like 15 minutes away from Kansas City and if I check the processing times for Kansas City it says that they are currently processing N400 applications from September 30th 2016 :/ anyone else heard of it?

I was just on USCIS website and they made online filing publicly available again. So bummed out that I didn't know about that option before I paper-filed :(

So I filed by mail but they just send me an access code that allows me to create an account online on that same website that is used to apply for N400 ..

And now that I created an account it looks as if I applied online - all my information is there, letters send to me appear online and I can send a message to an immigration officer regarding my case ..

 

Considering that most of us get an IOE (online service center) case number I am wondering if it makes any difference at this point.. It looks like USCIS takes paper applications and converts them into electronic ones manually :S I might be wrong but this is what it looks like from my end..

Yes, that would've been great. I also received an access code and my case starts with IOE. I'm just hoping that they process it as fast as online applications. We'll see.

Sent: Date N-400 was mailed to USCIS.
Cashd: Date your check was cashed / credit card was charged by USCIS.
NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview

NBC: National Benefits Center

IOE: ELIS (efile)

ECD: Estimated completion date as reported in USCIS website for your case in months

I just received a text and email saying my case was received and routed to Harrisonburg storage center for processing? There's also an IOE number. Check hasn't been cashed yet.

AOS from F-1(Married to USC
06.08.12 - AOS mailed
09.18.12 - Interview.....Approved!!

ROC- Divorce Waiver
05/09/14- I-751 packet mailed to CSC
05/12/14- NOA1 Receipt date
07/01/14- Biometrics Appt

08/11/14- RFE received

09/08/14- RFE response received by USCIS

09/22/14- 10yrs GC Approved!!

Congrats! Don't worry your check will probably be cached by tomorrow if it hasn't been cashed already.. It takes a day or two for a check to show up in your back account after they cash it.

 

I think most of us received that "routed to harrisonburg storage center for processing" .. seems like they convert our application to online so they send all the paper applications to that Harrisonburg facility for storage. No need for the paper files when they have access to everything on their online system.

1/23/2015: Interview is Scheduled for February 27!

3/10/2015: Greencard Received

 

12/3/2016: Filed i751 at California Service Center

 

12/4/2016: Filed N400 - Dallas TX

 

2/18/2018: i751 Case transferred to Local Office

2/26/2018: i751 Case received at Local Office

1/5/2018: i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

3/5/2018: Another update saying i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

5/7/2018: Received Letter stating i751 Case transferred to National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO 64064

5/30/2018: Interview scheduled for N400

7/11/2018: Attended interview and was informed it will be a combo N400/I751 interview

8/6/2018: N400 Approved

8/7/2018: I751 Approved

9/5/2018: Oath Ceremony missed due to travel abroad and letter sent to USCIS to reschedule ceremony

10/2/2018: Officially a US Citizen!
