Hey Welcome @LUAL. I think based on other Online filers from Tampa Florida yours should be IOE as well. But you will see that updated in a few hours soon.

Hello ya'll, I am getting ready to send my forms this month. Only after coming here I realized you can apply online. Can you please let me know if applying online is better in anyway than mailing the forms or vice versa?

Based on previous months progress forums it seems that filing online is better at this time but that has changed a bit based on more online filers perhaps. 

Having said that it seems to have faster turnaround when it comes to first few status updates like application received and biometric appointment scheduling. Then it pretty much is the same wait to the interview because of various wait times at the respective field offices. But then again some have mentioned that it is still faster to apply online.

 

Just my two cents....if I were you I would prefer to apply online.

Yes, it makes sense. I have had very bad luck with my i-751 removal of conditions. I applied to remove condition on march 2016 (yes 2016!) and didn't get a decision from them yet. All of this done via mail and lots of confusions/delays with status updates and communication. So this time I am going to try applying online. Good luck to all of us.

The online application asks you to send a copy (online) of your GC, if you are still waiting for the i751 you don't have a valid green card and in your case I would apply via paper so that you can explain yourself on the cover letter. Applying online did not give me the chance to put a cover letter.
