I don't know if updates for everyone and sometimes it is slow but mine has said "ready" since my interview was scheduled.

Thanks.

I thought it'd be "In transit" first....

Anyways, did the web update the same day?

Mine went from "Submit required docs" to "At NVC" the same day as my case was completed, so it was pretty fast.

I know the actual email comes several days after.

Having a baby does not make a solid case.  The facetime and the communication between you both is the best evidence for bonifide.  I don't know what evidence you've already provided up to this point but I would make sure you have it for the interview.

Yea, well i did mention to the lady that she should make sure she has proof of communication and a long distance relationship. I have read from others who have children with their spouse that, that made their interview a lot easier. I’m not advising her to rely on that alone however i do believe her story overall. But i agree and as i mentioned to her she should gather all the evidence she can, it will only help her.

Okay, the only proof I have when we were dating 5 years is pictures a lot of pictures , some letters but no chat log or phone bills . U think that's okay?

Bring whatever u have. U can’t bring what u don’t have. My husband and i ft A LOT and it’s almost impossible trying to prove how much we talk throughout the day. But luckily we happen to always playfully screenshot each other’s face so with that we have proof of ft, and we text when he’s at work. But don’t doubt your relationship. It is what it is. Just bring ALLL that your have!!! And also affidavit letters from friends and family would help. I have all my USC friends that know my husband from when we were all in college write signed letters. His father, twin brother and his best friend is going to write one as well. Def bring proof of his tickets to Ghana as well.

I wish u all the best.

My case was sent to NVC on november 22nd and I just called and they said that they still dont have it, and I should call back in 5 more weeks. Shall I wait that long to get the case Number and IID?

Mine was sent on 11/8/17 and they received it on 11/13/17. I guess they say it can take that long but in my case it didn't! It might take yours a little longer since it was Thanksgiving.

So the consulate told me today that my interview date is invalid until they generate the appointment letter.

that's very disappointing, I still have it scheduled and have to keep checking to see if they've generated, the rep said my case isn't fully loaded into the system yet.

On top of that I'll have to travel to the consulate to get a copy of the letter cause there's no way I would get it in the mail in time.

Hello I have a question, my case is also is expedited and I got the email yesterday saying sent to embassy in Juarez and look on line and it says ready. Now when yours was ready did they send you an email on how to set up your appointment.

Thanks

No I found info on this forum :-D

You do it here.

https://ais.usvisa-info.com

I talked someone who was in the same situation at the beginning of the year, and they have their interview just 3 weeks after signing up and said they go their letter at the information window at the consulate and never received it in the mail.

I might just have to try that although its a big risk.
