Married on the first visit and pregnant

My spouse is from a very high fraud country embassy too. That being said, it is not about you or your husband, but the MANY before you who have tried, many failed and some succeeded to scam the Embassy. 

 

You mentioned you made a bad decision on the B2 Visa and got a denial. Could you elaborate? Was it a misrep or other reason? As others have said, evidence, evidence, evidence. Having a baby is immaterial......

Our child came as a surprise , we didn't plan on having children until 2019, 2020. 

 

We put in for a b2 visa for the holidays and unfortunately due to my parents health issues they will never be able to come to Ghana . However my honey was asked 4 questions and the minute he answered he was married to a US Citizen he was denied without viewing any of documents he brought

I get where your coming from, but fear is a mind killer and we always tend to think different worst case scenarios.
But you don't know how the IO will react until you file.

 

So basically, get rid of that crippling fear and start building your new life with your husband and newborn.

The fact that you married on the first trip shouldn't be an issue because you have gone back 4 more time staying for a few weeks at a time, and you didn't apply until a couple years later.  If you applied right away and never gone back, yes, it would be suspect.

 

BTW- when you mention "bad decision in the past", I think there is some confusion about what you are referring to.  You are talking about marrying on the first trip, correct?

I married my husband my first trip and my third trip i got pregnant i file two  months later and when i filed i sumit the paperwork showing that i was high risk along with the documentation about me traveling there i applied April and it was approved in Sept now we are waiting on NVC pray about it yall will be fine

maybe you shouldn't have file a b2 i also went thru rapid visa and they help me out alot as well

I'm not sure where you got this information that marrying on a first visit is so bad...We got married 7 days after I met my then GF face to face in the Philippines.  You being married has nothing to do with anything.  In fact, if you married over two or more years prior to filing you will qualify for an IR-1 Visa.  Once you get the IR-1 and land in the US you will have full Permanent Residency upon arrival in the US.  You will get a 10 year green card when you arrive in the USA.  You will be able to work almost immediately upon arrival.

5 visits, being together for 3 years and traveled together to a number of places? I'm not sure why you are worried. I have gone through the Ghana embassy for a number of visas in the past and I can tell you that, while the embassy can sometimes be a bit challenge, it's really easy when nothing jumps out in your story and everything is straightforward. Yours looks easy and you shouldn't have issues. Good luck!

Thank you and I'm glad to hear from someone who went through it. Our relationship is solid but I worry myself about this red flag we have . However I feel better reading these comments and I'm going to file and enjoy my pregnancy . This is our first child

Dear Ghana is considered a high fraud country so yes couples are getting denied for marrying on the first visit

What embassy dear ? I'm not worried about that , I'm prepared to have our child here without him , I'm sure he won't be here in 7 months . I'm more concern about the end result which is we raised our babies under one roof together and happy as a family . God bless

Yes I was referring to marrying on the first visit . I went 5 times total . First time being a week , 2: 3 weeks and the other times one week . It's hard to go for more times when you work in corporate and only granted 3 weeks vaca . I usually spread them out so we can see each other more than one time per year .

lol you don't have to agree however the proof is in the hundreds of stories listed on this  forum precisely under " Ghana " of red flags . I'm over it though , I'll be filing soon
