Wife has til next Aug 2018 when her window opens so we will get her ready by then. Keep telling her to study the citizenship questions because time literally flies by. 👍

Thanks!  Yeah my mind just kept going back to him on that first question...even after she asked it for the third time.  She was laughing as she told me the answer after my test, though.

No it will not because you have lots of other supporting evidence. Affidavits are not necessary but as part of a package of other evidence they are fine. Stand alone, they are useless

Each situation is different and I am sure they take that into account. We included photos (printed on plain 8.5 X 11 inch paper)

150 photos is way overkill considering it's only counted as secondary evidence anyway.

I would suggest adding 2-4 photos from each year of your marriage, photos that show the location (like a museum/Disney World/stadium sign in the background) and then add the tickets that shows the dates you were there. But that's it, no need for more photos than that.

Up to 10.  You have to get at least 6 right.

 

There is a total of 100 possible questions.

No need to start cramming if you haven't even put in the application yet---but for memory retention, probably a good idea to become familiar with the test and type of questions asked.  You may already know more of the answers than you think

Looking at your timeline for citizenship, took you only 3 months, I will do the online too so it will be a speedy process.

Online does seem to be picking up speed, yes, however your own mileage may vary...just keep in that in mind.

A lot of it (how long it takes, I mean) depends on variable factors...country of origin, caseload of your field office--NYC office takes longer than Queens office--, background check and anything that may come up in that, name check and anything resulting from that, how straightforward your application is, if you receive any RFEs along the way, etc.

 

Don't hold my timeline as a guarantee that yours will be the same, is my point.  I was surprised too. Good luck with your filing.
