Hey so I guess must be the first (hopefully only) april filer who failed the interview stage. I'm so confused right now because my fiance said he thought the interview was going well and that easy questions were asked.

1.how did u guys meet (My aunt)

And where did my aunt stay when she visited Cambodia

2.When did your fiance come to cambodia

3.do u guys talk everyday

4. Does she speak khmer

5.what language do u guys speak to each other

And some other ones that I can't think of right now

The CO also asked for pics of the engagement, which we hav lots of pics. But he said she didn't even touch our documents at all. Which had lots of proof. Face time images, messages, call logs back dated from when we met, pics of us, pics with our families, gifts we sent to each other. And she didn't even look at it.

We are both so hurt and lost right now. I don't know what to do. I don't understand what went wrong. I know Cambodia is a high risk country, so that should make the CO want to look at our documents even more to determine if it's real or not. Not just shrug it off and assume that it's fake.

Idk what I can do from here on. Please help. What are my options. I can't even go into work today I'm so lost.

Did the Co give any reason at all to your fiancé? What did she say when the interview concluded?

Hi guys,

  1. where/how do you pay for the K1 visa fee?
  2. how you schedule the appointment? do you wait the (letter) from consulate with instructions to register/schedule the appointment?
  3. we have already sent the DS-160 and we have confirmation from the embassy they receive the case. They sent a letter pre-appointment checklist. We have verified and send the response accodingly
  4. Can we just paid and set up an appointment day. For us, the feeling is that the consulate give that with not chance to choose.

Cheers,

At this stage, fee payment and scheduling an appointment is embassy specific.  Using some awesome Google-fu, I found this:

Fee:

https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-nl/niv/information/fee

Appointment:

https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-nl/niv/

Finally done.

All she said was that he isn't truthful

And when he argues That he isn't lying about anything the CO says we'll it's too late I already signed the papers.

Well, what exactly she thought he was lying about is important. You should be getting an explanation for the denial which would then determine what you would need to prove should you reapply or appeal.

She didn't say what exactly. And she just walked away from him.

Is there such thing as an appeal if we were denied?
