I have an interview 17 years ago I was arrested on a drug charge I have old paperwork charges were dropped.Can the officer still approve me on the day of my interview?

Arrest was in USA and I have interviw for green card

I-601A, Application for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver can i submit that before interview? Or will they tell me i have to submit after interview?

1) Please stick to your original thread.

2) I-601A is to overcome a bar due to unlawful presence (filed while still in the US). That doesn't apply to your case in any way (from what you've stated).

3) If you are ineligible for the visa and the ineligibility is waivable, you will be informed at that time, and then can submit the waiver.

Hi I may need a waiver as inadmissable for prostition 33 years ago. Will the officer waive it at my interview or how long does it take to get a waiver?

Well both at the same time 33 years ago.I had 3 grams of marijuana when arrested for prostitution.It was a long long time ago

Have you had your interview yet?  I remember you saying back at the beginning of this thread (in August) that you were having one----so how did it go?

Hi yes I went for interview it was refused as i needed additional documents I told officer about my old arrests and he said my daughter may have to ask for waiver.I dont know if they mean she will have to but if so how does that work?Will it tae long?

What paperwork did the CO give you when you were denied?

My understanding is that the CO makes the determination if a waiver is applicable (I could be dreaming that though)
