i was able to log in today but i had spelling mistake on my spouse name and i did called USCIS twice for the same and they have informed me that they have corrected the error before they send to NVC but name is still spell incorrect. Should i call nvc or USCIS now to solve the issue.

 .

Spelling Mistake ? as in The First name or the Surname( last) .  Regardless , enter the name as mentioned exactly on the Passport, and uscis verified that so Don't worry about it since all the Info including all the documents (make sure u have all the documents  and  name on that correct too)u will send to NVC later  is dealt with the USCIS officer  more rather the NVC. Once u login  , the name is usually on Default there So u can edit the name and then u can put in the correct name as on the passport ( surname then given name) .

Hi guys,I´ve been out of here, but don´t want high stress levels,  just trying not to think abt this process, last monday my wife called NVC and they told her 8 weeks, they received the case on Apr 4 .

On June 1st we are going to call them just to see if the miracle happens.

My cuban papers are here too, arrived a week ago and we are ready to NVC , next week we are going to assemble the 3 packages.

I have a question, how long is it taking currently from Case number to , at least Case complete and ready for an interview, coz I know that embassy times are different due to many reasons.

Anyone knows?

Things will be lot smoother once you get your case number. I received my case number on 29th of April and my case was completed on May 15. For the interview though they only schedule interviews on the last week and first week of month. So if you're like me whose case gets completed on the middle of the month, you gotta wait couple of more weeks for the interview date.

its mistake in her first name. so when i choose the agent i did type the correct name.

I'd say don't even wait a week. after I paid my first fees, my second fee was open in 2 days. and 2 days after the second fee my IV application was open.

It means they have finished reviewing your documents and ready to schedule your interview date. The exact date depends on the consulate.

Sorry folks, I am not here as often as I used to be! We have landed ourselves a great house and I was very busy with that (long distance home buying... fun stuff). To cut the long story short, we decided to pay for the house fully in cash and that required some calculation and moving of money, on top of paperwork to make offer and all.

In case anyone has not seen, my interview was moved from 12 to 20 June, thanks to that summit between Trump and Kim, which has just been cancelled. Still waiting to see if they will reinstate my original date!

If you guys need me for anything just PM me or tag me in the post as I do still check my email every day and if I get an alert I will see it :)
