There are 2 people here who applied from Boston, one has already passed interview, the other one is scheduled this week. We still are not even in line for interview. Nothing has happened since fingerprinting. At what point should I call immigration? Is this normal?

There are 2 people here who applied from Boston, one has already passed interview, the other one is scheduled this week. We still are not even in line for interview. Nothing has happened since fingerprinting. At what point should I call immigration? Is this normal?

You won’t get anywhere calling them. You’d need to schedule an infopass appointment. 

 

Keep in mind that it could take months before you get an interview letter. Other people’s cases have no bearing on yours. Maybe their background checks were quicker, no way to know.

 

If it was me, I’d be scheduling an infopass appointment after about 6 months.
